The newly (3/2021) built "Villa Lagadakia" is located in a sunny location, 200 m from the sea and 500 m from a beautiful, small bay on a 2,000 m2 property. A wonderful terrace with sea views, a heatable pool (20€ per day), olive trees and a shady pergola invite you to relax. The house has 2 floors. The two bedrooms with bath / WC on the upper floor have a balcony with a great panoramic view of the sea and the white mountains (Lefka Ori). On the ground floor there is a bedroom and bathroom / toilet as well as the large living and kitchen area. The washing machine and dryer are located in the basement. In the outdoor area there are of course a shower, garden furniture, loungers, a grill, etc. The house also has underfloor heating for the cooler months. All living rooms are air-conditioned and free WiFi is available. Bed linen and towels are provided. The house is located in the west of Crete on the Akrotiri peninsula in a beautiful residential area. The typical greek places Chorafakia and Kounoupidiana with shops, supermarkets, restaurants, cafes, taverns, bakery, pharmacy, ... are within a few minutes drive, as well as the sandy beaches "Tersanas" (1.5 km) and "Kalathas" (4.3 km) particularly suitable for children. The small sand-rock beach "Maherida" is about 10 minutes away by foot. To the place Stavros, location of the legendary film "Alexis Zorbas", with some shops, taverns and 2 very nice sandy beaches "Stavros beach" and "Sunset beach" it is also only a few minutes by car. The idyllic "Marathi" beach on the other side of the peninsula can be reached in a 25-minutes drive. The nearest restaurant you can find at Tersanas beach, 18 min. by foot or 4 min. by car. The nearest shop is in Chorafakia (2,4 km). The enchanting Chania with its 14th century Venetian harbor, narrow streets and restaurants on the water is around 15 km away. There is a bus connection, but a vehicle is recommended to explore the many sights and beaches in the area.
