Beautiful private apartment in Wells 1-4 guests

Stunning top floor apartment available for airb&b. The apartment includes a double bedroom with en-suite shower room (shower, sink & toilet), living room with sofa bed, tv, dvds, games and kitchen area (sink, kettle, toaster, microwave, fridge). Located In beautiful Wells in Somerset. The apartment is located on the top floor up 2 flights of stairs. We (myself, husband & 2 kids) live on the bottom 2 levels of the house. There is a shared hall way to the private apartment at the top of the house Rosebank is a is a beautiful top floor self catering apartment that sleeps 1-4 guests (plus travel cot). The apartment has a double bedroom with en-suite (shower, toilet & sink). An open plan living & kitchenette which includes a large sofa bed, tv with freeview, dvds, board games & toys. Kitchen cupboards with all the necessities - a kettle, mini fridge, microwave, slow cooker & toaster - cutlery & crockery. And a dining area with table & chairs. We provide tea, coffee, herbal teas, hot chocolate & milk. As well as towels, dish cloths, t-towels, shampoo, shower gel, washing up liquid and cleaning products. We can provide all you need for little ones: travel cot, high chair, stair gate, night light, monitor, toys, kids cups & plates etc. Please do let us know what you’d like to use and we’ll set it all up for you. The entrance is through the owners front door (shared hallway) and up 2 flights of stairs to the private apartment. During this strange time we are only offering self check in. We unfortunately won’t be greeting guests in person, but we are just a text or call away if you need anything. For checkin, your key will be left in the key safe - so you are welcome to come anytime from 3pm. We can often accommodate an earlier check in time - please do message to discuss any additional requests. We want guests to feel at home. Please do feel free to come and go as you like - just check both of the front doors are locked when heading out. Our nearest free parking is just 3 houses down - round the corner on Rowden’s Road near Wells Football Club (BA5 1TU) and the surrounding roads. Please note there is no parking at the property. There is a Morrison’s & Lidl just a short walk from our house should you wish to get supplies. There is free WiFi at the property and freeview TV, some DVDs, board games and kids toys. We have a high chair and travel cot available - please let us know if you would like these setting up. If the weather is nice, we will set up a table and chairs in our front garden for guests to use. It’s lovely and sunny out there in the evening and our gardener has planted lots of lovely things. The front garden is on a road, so please do keep the gate shut if you have children with you. There is an open logshed/shelter in the front garden - that you are welcome to chain bikes to (at your own risk). We are a non smoking and non party property. With no animal visitors please. Please note that we live at the downstairs of the property and have a young family (we have a 6 year old and a 1 year old - who are super well behaved kids and who thankfully sleep well too). We like to leave guests to enjoy their time here, but if you need us - we are just down stairs or a phone call away. There is no oven or hob in the apartment and there are no laundry facilities in the apartment, however there is a laundrette a short walk away. Check out time is before 10am. If we are out, please lock the front door and post your keys through the letterbox. We can occasionally help with a later checkout time - please do ask if you would like a little bit longer. There are lots of lovely places to eat out in Wells. For something a little special you could try The Swan or Ensemble. We have an Ask & Lounge chains that do nice family food. As well as many lovely pubs such as the crown, city arms & the fountain in. There is a Greek & Thai restaurant in Wells. For somewhere a little lively - The Sheppy is a short taxi journey and often has live music and good food. Shepton Mallet Prison has a ghost tour that is meant to be fantastic. For food in there is also pizza delivery by Da Luciano Pizzeria or fish & chips, Chinese & Indian take aways in town. Good Earth is an excellent vegetarian restaurant and natural living shop which only opens for lunch. There are some lovely places to explore including the Wells market on Wed & Sat. Wells Cathedral. The Bishops Palace & Gardens. There are some lovely walks and forests to explore as well as Wookey Hole caves & Cheddar caves + cheese shop, The Newt Gardens & restaurant. There are lots of lovely shops & cafes in Wells to explore as well as many festivals such as the food festival, literacy festival, moat race and more. The 376 bus stops a few doors up from our house and goes to Glastonbury (town where you can walk up the Tor) & Street (large outlet shopping centre), the opposite side of the road 376 goes to Farrington Gurney farm, golf club & book barn then on to Bristol. From the bus station you can also get a bus to Cheddar & Bath along with many other destinations. We hope you enjoy your time in Wells. Available for check in 3pm- midnight, or at other times with prior arrangement. Check out before 10am. A key will be left for self checkin in the key safe. Short (10 min) walk to Wells Cathedral or The Bishops Palace. Wonderful restaurants, pubs & cafes of Wells. Parking is around the corner on Rowden’s road, Wells - free on street parking (1-2 min walk). There is no parking at the property. There is no oven, hob, dishwasher or washing machine available. There is a microwave, toaster, kettle & mini fridge. We live in the downstairs of the property with 2 young children. They are super well behaved and sleep well. Our main living area is 2 floors away from guests and the other side of the house. We have a lovely old Lakeland terrier dog who lives in our kitchen diner. He is very old and never meets guests. But we just want to make you aware in case of allergies. Lakeland terriers don’t shed hair and are hypoallergenic. We have a cleaner on Mondays at 12-1pm. She doesn’t clean the flat if there are guests in, so don’t worry - she won’t come up. But just to make you aware you might see her in the house. Her name is Tanya abs she is lovely and has worked for us for over 2 years.
