Chez Blanc - a Château location

Nestled in the heart of the renovated 18th Century Château, Chez Blanc offers you luxury, comfort and style. Spread over 3 floors the interior boasts high ceilings, tall windows, and original features such as wooden beams. The Domaine hosts 15 properties (3 currently for sale) and includes a shared swimming pool. 3 km from Pézenas and 30 minutes from the Mediterranean coast, Lézignan la Cèbe and Chez Blanc offers endless opportunities for great food, great wines and splendid scenery. Large open plan kitchen/dining and salon area. Chez Blanc is tiled in the local travertine stone. The main bathroom is decorated with white metro tiles and features a claw-footed bath with shower overhead. The ensuite to the master bedroom has a large walk-in shower. High quality white bed linen and bath towels are provided. Picnic basket and rug, pool and beach towels and a set of boules are also available for use. In addition kitchen is stocked with Nespresso machine, herbs, oils and condiments. Chez Blanc has been awarded a 5* rating by the French tourist authorities. Pool is shared with 12 properties and is open from Mid May to Mid September. 4 Sun loungers provided together with pool towels Linda manages Chez Blanc and will call you to provide address and directions once your booking is confirmed . Linda is your main contact during your holiday. Chez Blanc is close to Béziers and Montpellier airports, Agde railway station and just off the main A75 autoroute. Lézignan la Cèbe has a boulangerie and local grocer's shop, there is a wonderful restaurant within walking distance and also two Michelin starred restaurants in the area. Pézenas is a 5-minute drive away and features 17th Century carved stone façades, a host of pretty cobbled streets lined with small shops and artist's ateliers. There is a wonderful Saturday market and a great selection of traditional restaurants. It is also a renowned antique and bric-a-brac centre and hosts two annual antique markets in May and October. The Languedoc vineyards surround the local area so there are plenty of wine tasting options. Picpoul de Pinet, Bessan, (famous for its rosé wines) Faugères and St Chinian for red wine, are just some of the choices. Marseillan is home to Noilly Prat and the famous Bouzigue oyster beds are both within 30 minutes drive. Two 18-hole Golf courses are also a short drive away in Beziers and Cap d’Agde. Bikes are available to rent (contact the tourist office in Pézenas). Limited bus service into Pézenas and then connections to Montpellier and the coast. A car is recommended. A reliable and extremely pleasant local taxi driver is also available. Tables and chairs can be set up outside Chez Blanc for dining. They are stored at entry level in the cupboards. Children over 12 only This is a gated property with beeper access. Gates close automatically after 2 minutes. There is a communal non covered parking area for residents and visitors. As the Domaine is surrounded by open fields and countryside there are a number of feral cats that do wander around and often take shelter under the cars. Not a problem to put a cover over your car if you are worried about the weather or the cats!
