The Green Mountain Chalet

The atmosphere is rejuvenating in this spacious and unique Chalet! Stylishly constructed with beautiful, exposed post and beam cathedral ceilings and decorated with unique rustic style to give you a peaceful getaway. The kitchen has recently been updated with stylish subway tiles & quartz countertops! Minutes to Lake Fairlee and Lake Morey for some fun in the sun. If you’re inclined to hike, the Rivendell Trail System and Bald Top mountain are just down the road. 25min drive Dartmouth College. You will be greeted by an Open format kitchen and Dining space with a Quartz countertop. The kitchen has all the amenities and appliances you will need to prepare everything from your morning coffee to dinner. Along with the refrigerator, oven, and stove top other appliances, tea kettle, coffee maker (filters provided), food processor, toaster, and microwave. Basics to cook with such as sugar, oil, pepper, salt, spices, and vinegars are provided. The cabinets are fully stocked with dishes, glasses, mugs, pots, backing sheets, and kitchen utensils. Food storage supplies such as aluminum foil and Ziplock bags can be found in the drawers. A dishwasher, dish soap, paper towels, dishrags, and sponges are all available for cleanup. There is a Hidden kitchen pantry between back door and bathroom containing kitchen essentials with “Pull” sign hanging on door. If anything is missing let me know and I will bring it right over. The Dining area is situated with a table and high back chairs to seat up to 6 guests and the countertop bar can seat up to 4. Two doors just off the kitchen give you access to the back porch and yard. A very Fast fiber optic 50 MBPS WiFi modem. There is also a navy blue love seat that seconds as a pull out single bed and a full bathroom on the main floor. The antique 1900 wood stove for show only. The living room with Grand Cathedral Ceilings and Post beams is furnished with a love seat 1 couches and 1 pull out couch that sleeps 2. This room has several other fun décor touches including a 1900’s industrial cart coffee table; Japanese lantern light hanging from above; and an Antique Caribou head mount. For your entertainment there is a large flat screen TV with ROKU, Netflix, and Bluetooth speaker. There is also an assortment of books. A Master Bedroom with a comfortable Temperpedic Queen size bed and Long chair. An Antique display cabinet, Mirror, Long mirror on door, Twin size bed, Large walk-in closet w/ hangers, Lamp, and end table. Off the master bedroom is a second Bathroom with a deep tub/shower and a Large Fan and Air conditioner. Above the master bedroom is a Loft Bedroom with 1 Queen size bed, 2 twin size beds, a Tall lamp with reading light, and an Air conditioner. The 3rd and 4th bedroom are connected train car style. Please note: You must walk through one bedroom to get to the other. One has a Queen size bed, and the 2nd room has a twin size bed and a Queen size bed. Both rooms have Side tables and Lamps as well as built in Air conditioners. One of the bedrooms has a huge flat screen smart TV with Netflix (not shown in most pictures) The two bathrooms are Fully equipped with Clean Towels, a Hair dryer, Body Soaps, lotion, shampoos and conditioners, Ironing board, iron, Toilet paper and Tissues. A basement mud room and entry way has a Digital lock, a Foosball Table, Plenty of space for gear, Washer, Dryer, detergent, Extra sheets and towels. Also, Garbage, Compost & Recycling included. The Chalet is situated on a stunning 6.5 acres property of open grass and woodlands. It is Perfect for stargazing. There is a Fire pit and seating (most supermarkets sell bundles of wood for $4) as well as a BBQ propane grill with essentials (I can supply extra gas if you run out upon request). It’s Completely private with 2 Porches, outdoor Seating with tables, a picnic table, and a hammock. Guests have access to the fully stocked house with everything you’ll need for a comfortable retreat, the entire private property, the Rivendell trail system and the entirety of Milldale Farm Center for Wellness, right down the road. It’s gives you unlimited incoming calls, and some outgoing calls and also it allows you to text for free. •Please excuse our appearance in our unfinished basement/mud room when you enter the house and our toilets have rust marks in them but They are clean •Prices vary and change daily with airbnbs algorithm •If you have the fan on in the master bathroom and use the outlet for a hair dryer it’ll trigger the outlet to shut off.
