Relax in a quiet family neighborhood surrounded by a unique garden and large backyard. The great room was designed for cooking and sharing meals with family and friends. Close to hiking and biking trails of Holzinger and St. Mary's, and just a 15 minute scenic bike ride to the center of town. We want you to know that we’re doing our part to help our Airbnb guests stay safe by building in a 24-hour waiting period between stays, and cleaning and disinfecting frequently touched surfaces (light switches, doorknobs, cabinet handles, remotes, etc.) before you check in. My husband is a fine furniture maker. Together we remodeled the space four years ago. Many of his pieces are in the home including the cottonwood dining table, a hanging cabinet, cabinets in the kitchen, a few sculptures and wall hangings. Referencing the saying, a shoemaker has no shoes, our cabinets don't have doors or drawer faces. There is a cat that stays in this space when it is not rented. Most of the house will be available except the utility room at the back where we store our belongings. We may stop by to access items in this space during your stay. If access to the washer/dryer is needed, it can be unlocked upon request. We manage a local campground and are just 5 minutes away. Check the Prairie Island Campground website calendar for events. Let us know if you are interested in renting paddle equipment to go on the river, or even booking a stay in a tiny house. In addition to access to recreation, this home is close to a few restaurants and grocery store.
