Beautiful accommodation on an Alpaca smallholding

Come and enjoy a unique experience in this truly amazing 1 bedroom annex at the Sanctuary on a pretty 10 acre Alpaca farm with chickens. Idyllic for a couple. The annex has under floor heating, patio area front and back to get the rays, BBQ, table and chairs to enjoy that wonderful sunset. Part of the main house but has it's own front door. 5 mins to Teignmouth, 10 mins to Exeter and Torquay. Situated in the pretty Village of Ideford, local walks and an amazing pub just 8 minutes walk away. You can get up close and comfortable with chickens and alpacas especially at feeding times. Spectacular views of the land and surrounding hills and even Dartmoor. Friendly and welcoming atmosphere. You can also get involved in the kitchen garden and have produce from there. Beautiful sunny patio at the front and rear of the annex with BBQ and garden furniture. The Saxon village of Ideford is easily accessible by foot. It has a pretty church and village hall, also the Royal Oak pub. The neighbouring village of Luton is within walking distance and has the Elizabethan Inn, a good food pub doing takeaways at present. May be fully open depending on the date you come. My name is Jean and I have spent the last couple of years creating my dream detached house on a farm in Ideford village where I grew up. Everything is modern and state of the art and I would be delighted to share this experience with you. I live next door so am easy to contact and help with any queries but you have your own entrance and privacy. Guests will be greeted upon arrival and shown around the accommodation. I will provide plenty of information about the local area and things to do. There are local supermarkets that deliver and I could arrange to be around to receive your order to save you waiting in. The Sanctuary is situated at the end of the pretty Saxon village of Ideford. It is 5 miles from the beach at Teignmouth, Dawlish and Dawlish Warren, 12 miles to Exeter and Torquay. Lovely views of Dartmoor, surrounding moorland and hilly patchwork fields. Wonderful atmospheric food and drinking pub only 8 mins walk away. Lovely country walks on your door step. You can also enjoy the 10 acres of farmland with the alpacas and chickens. Alpaca sheering is on the 3rd of June. a real experience to watch. You will need a car to be in this area as limited bus service. Great drives to the coast and moorlands. Lovely local country walks. We are currently halter training some of the young Alpacas and it may be possible for you to walk them. Please bring some out door foot wear such as walking boots or wellies and suitable warm coats just encase.
