With one queen bedroom the self contained Cabin is suitable for singles or couples looking for a quiet escape in the countryside. We have 2 night Stay minimum across all of our listings. Darker square - Booked Located on the outskirts of the charming township of Meeniyan, the Cabin looks over 2 acres of open space, with views across the Tarwin Valley. The property was originally a small dairy farm, and is part of a larger development Ross Farm, re-purposing disused farm buildings into modern places to stay. The Cabin has been designed and hand crafted by local makers to provide you with a unique accommodation experience, complete with Japanese inspired wooden Bath. It also includes many other hand crafted elements that have been designed and made especially for the space. A full kitchen and basic larder are there for your use, including welcoming supply of local staples. There is also Veggie garden that you are welcome to help yourself to. We also have resident Hens on the property who provide fresh daily eggs. Approx 1km walking distance into town. Your hosts live close by, and are glad to assist with any local information or other required assistance. Meeniyan is a quintessential country village with popular and well know eateries, as well as a thriving arts and music culture. Only 30mins to the gate of the spectacular must see Wilson’s Promontory National Park. An hour into Tidal River. Within 20mins of many swimming and surf beaches. Also many opportunities to explore the local countryside by bicycles or foot, via the Great Southern Rail Trail, or explore the area further by Car. There is a VLine bus service to Meeniyan that leaves from Southern Cross Station, Melbourne. Relaxed Linen bedding + bath towels provided. Linen bath robes + slippers also provided for your stay. The Cabin is quite private, and sits adjacent to our other properties the Barn + the Dairy. Ross Farm has been designed with private outlooks and vista's in mind.
