The Cranny is a double guest suite with shower room and kitchenette. We provide basic utensils, kettle, fridge and microwave. Outside patio and dining area with table and chairs. In a quiet rural area on the outskirts of Helston. The Cranny is at the rear of the owners’ property with off-road parking for one car. Ideal as a base for exploring surrounding areas of Helston, Porthleven, Redruth, Camborne, Lizard and Penzance. Double bedroom, double bed with linen provided, 2 tub chairs inside for seating, wardrobe, drawers and side tables, tv & free wi-fi. En-suite shower, sink and toilet, 2 towels per person provided. Outside decking and gravel area with seating, table and chairs. There is a gas BBQ available on request. Kitchenette with Sink, Microwave, fridge, kettle and toaster, basic cooking and serving utensils. 5 mins Helston with all shops and amenities. Private off road parking for 1 car. Own entrance and off road parking, 5 mins drive to Helston, 30 minute walk. Cyclists can store bikes on patio area outside The Cranny but there is not a storage shed for bikes at present. Rural area with walks and footpaths. The Cranny is located adjoining the owners property, in a small group of converted barns, off a minor road with a private driveway and parking area. Your hosts are next door and available should you need anything. Helston is known for the annual Furry Dance (Flora Day), originally a port there is now a large sandbank at Loe Bar where the river meets the sea. Penrose park is a popular area with a boating lake and cafe and a circular woodland walk, Flambards Theme Park and Victorian Village is on the outskirts of the town, nearby Porthleven is a popular fishing harbour. 5 minutes drive to Helston Town. There is a nearby restaurant and golf course at Wheal Dream 15 minute walk (subject to availability). 20-30 mins by car to The Lizard, Falmouth, Penzance or Redruth. Beaches at Porthleven, Gunwalloe, Poldhu, Praa Sands, Marazion and various other small coves. Max occupancy 2 persons (double bed). No children or pets. Non-smoking policy inside.
