Apartment/Temporary Housing

Home away from home. If you're here for work, visiting, need a temporary place to stay, this is the place for you. The apartment is located on the first floor of our house. It has it's own private entrance for your convenience and privacy. The apartment is about 600 Sq ft, has a kitchen for those who would like a home cooked meal while away from home, private bathroom, and a large spacious bedroom. This space is perfect for those who need their privacy, want a semblance of home, and don't want to stay at a hotel. You have your own private entrance to get in and out of the apartment. It has everything you need to make your stay comfortable. The kitchen comes fully stocked with appliances to make your own meals and coffee. There is a nice sitting area to relax with your coffee/tea in the morning. There is a smart T.V in the bedroom and a brand new mattress with your comfort in mind. We are situated in a quiet neighborhood with beautiful views of the valley. We are close to major freeways- hwy 217, I-5, and I-205, near shopping centers, and an hour to two away from the beach and Mt. Hood. front porch As little or as much as you like. We will respect your privacy We love our neighborhood! It's nice a quiet, safe, very close knit neighborhood, and gorgeous! We live on top of Bull Mountain, so you can see a beautiful view of the valley from the front porch and on a sunny day you can see Mt. Hood. We also are accessible to different attractions/shopping centers, and major freeways. We are located just right off Hwy 99. Just about 5-10 miles away you can go to Progress Ridge-a newer shopping center where you will find New Seasons, Cinema, Big Al's Bowling Center, and restaurants to choose from like Thai food, La Provence, etc. Our favorite restaurants close by within 3-5 miles are Elmer's-they have the best pancakes, Hmart-also a grocery store with restaurants inside-they have really good Korean food, and Taco del Sol and the Tamale House for Mexican food. There's also major grocery stores like Costco, Winco, and Walmart by Hwy 99/Hwy 217. However, if you need to make a quick trip to the grocery store, I recommend going to Safeway which is only a mile away. If you're looking for more upscale restaurants and shopping center Bridgeport Mall is highly sought after. Sam works downtown, so we enjoy driving downtown, its usually takes us 25 minutes to drive downtown. We enjoy walking along waterfront drinking our coffee. Some of our favorite restaurants in Portland include Mother's Bistro, Altabira City Tavern, Noble Rot, Acadia-cajun food, and so much more (these restaurants are further away from our location anywhere from 25-35 minutes drive). We also enjoy hiking and the outdoors! We recommend taking the Historic Columbia River Highway Scenic Byway (this would be an hour drive from our location). There's so much to do and see around Portland and the surrounding areas. Our space is also close to Oregon's Wine Country, which includes Newberg and Dandee. If we didn't mention something and you're interested, feel free to ask us. Will need a car to get around town. We are about 20-25 minutes away from downtown Portland, however there's easy access to major freeways Hwy 99, Hwy 217, and I-5. Parking is available on the street, either on Oak Valley View or in front of our house
