This huge detached house is situated on a traditional Devon farm near the village of Halwell and can sleep 18 people in eight bedrooms. The Roundhouse is a huge smart house converted from a detached barn on a traditional working farm near the Devon village of Halwell. The house can sleep 18 people in eight bedrooms over two levels, all en suite and with one family bedroom in an annexe with exterior access and comfy seats, TV and drinks making facilities. On the second floor of the main house is a mezzanine seating are up a vertical ladder and on the first floor is a vast open plan living space with seating area with wood burning stove, a dining area and a kitchen, all smartly and grandly designed. On the ground floor is a children’s den and the lofty entrance hall. Outside is a shared indoor swimming pool, games room and play area with trampoline and waymarked walks across the farm with great views. With space for a big group, The Roundhouse is splendid accommodation for a sociable break in lovely Devon countryside. Amenities: Central heating, underfloor heating with wood burning stove. Microwave, fridge, fridge-freezer, tumble dryer, washing machine, dishwasher, TV with DVD, WiFi, Fuel and power inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Cot and highchair available on request. Off road parking for six cars. Children's play area, barbecue, indoor pool. Three well behaved dogs welcome. There is a £10 per pet pet charge for the second and third pet. Note: Check-in time 4pm. Note: Note: Swimming pool is 39' x 19' x 3' to 4'6" deep, available from 8am to 8pm; occasionally the pool is also used by owners' family and friends. Note: During the Covid-19 pandemic, use of the swimming pool is available on a rotation basis with each property allocated a daily 2 hour slot with exclusive pool use enabled for that cottage during those 2 hours. The times for each slot will rotate throughout the week. Whilst this rota is in place, pool opening hours have been extended from 7am – 9pm daily.
