Swedish sommarstuga

Family holiday in idyllic location Surrounded by lilacs and fruit trees, you will find this house from 1929 fully decorated in classical Swedish style. Since my husband is originally from that region we baught the house in 2011 and used our parental leave to fully renovate it. It now consists of a fully equipped kitchen, a cozy living room and dining room, a shower and two connecting bedrooms upstairs. Both the garden and the house has a nice view of the hills from the Bronze Age. Since the hostfamily tends to spend their own holidays here it has among other things; high chair, crib, swing, sand toys and a playground in the garden. Västra Karaby is located less than 10 km from the beach "Barsebäckstrand" and 19 km from the beautiful old university town of Lund. Other leisure attractions are offered in recreation area "Järavallen". There are many golf courses, kitesurfing is offered in Habo Ljung and Kävlingeån River, known for its exceptionally large pike and varied paddling routes. In addition, the area around Västra Karaby numerous horse and hiking opportunities. The house is reached from Kastrup Airport in Copenhagen in less than an hour (train / car).
