Family friendly house in Australia’s capital city!

Situated close to the Kippax Shopping Centre (less than 5 minutes away), only 8 minutes from Belconnen Town Centre, and 15 minutes to the City. This spacious home features a separate master bedroom and ensuite and a large private backyard. Close by: 2km to shopping centre and playground 8km to University of Canberra (UC) 10.5km to Australian Institute of Sport (AIS) 14km to the National Zoo and Aquarium 17.5km to Exhibition Park (EPIC) 18km to the War Memorial or Questacon This single level home provides great space for families holidaying in Canberra. It is spacious, bright and airy. It has a fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, oven, induction stove and microwave. Large tv and DVD player in family area with huge selection of kids toys and plenty of lounge space. Piano and ample lounge space in the second living area. Large dining table. Washing machine available. There is ducted heating and air conditioning throughout the entire house. There is also an under-cover back patio complete with an 8 seater outdoor table. Four bedrooms- master bedroom with queen size bed and ensuite, 1x bedroom with two single beds, 1x bedroom with bunk bed and pull out trundle bed, 1x bedroom with a tri bunk (double on the bottom and single on top) and one portacot available for use, 1x sofa bed in the lounge room. Our home comfortably sleeps 12. All bed linen is provided (including doonas and pillows) as well as towels and kitchen linen. There is an additional floor mattress under one of the singe beds in bedroom 2 that can be pulled out and used (you will need your own bedding for this one.) Guests will have access to the whole house-apart from the locked wardrobes where our belongings are stored. They will also have access to the fully fenced backyard (except the locked storage sheds). Since the wardrobes are locked additional hanging space for clothes etc is available in a couple of the bedrooms. Please note it is our family home and not a luxury hotel. Our house is situated in a quiet cul de sac in Holt. There is a playground a short walk from the end of the street and a local shops less than 200m from the house. Nearby transport (Action buses stop close by) will take you to most public transport hubs and from there to most places in Canberra. We have a fish tank and we would appreciate it if you'd feed our fish every day or second day. The food will be left out beside the fish tank. Thank you! Bring the kids bikes or scooters as the quiet cul de sac is perfect for riding in. There is also a basketball hoop at the end of the cul de sac that belongs to the house.
