Charming cottage in the countryside, close to lake

Charming cottage at the end of a little hammeau located in the Parc Naturel de Millevaches en Limousin, surrounded by beautiful countryside and forests. Within a 5 minute drive of a lakeside beach, the cottage is ideally located for swimming, as well as walking, biking and bird watching. The 2 person gîte has one bedroom, an equipped kitchen, a living room with dining table and big sofa, a bathroom with shower and toilet, and a private terrace for outdoor dining. Guests have access to a large shared garden with a lovely view. The cottage is detached and located across from the owner's home. Linens will be provided. Parking is free. Guests have access to the whole cottage. The town of Bujaleuf is a 7 minute drive and has a baker, a café/tabac and a supermarket for daily necessities. The town of St. Leonard de Noblat is reached within a 12 minute drive, with all shops, supermarkets and amenities available. The city of Limoges with many restaurants, bars, markets and shops is a 35 minute drive. From here you will find good transport links by both air and train. The lakeside beach of Lac de Sainte Helene (with life-guards and a summer restaurant in July and August) is reached within just a few minutes drive, Lac de Vassiviere within 30 minutes. There are plenty of walking routes and bike trails in our area. There are some great walks that start right at the cottage!Our gîte provides the perfect setting for winding down and enjoying the French countryside. Both for ones looking to relax, as for the more active guests. Minimum booking period is 2 nights. Kids and babies are very welcome, but we have no special furniture provided (you are always welcome to bring your own!).
