The Old Servants Quarters at Clynelish Farm has been recently refurbished to offer simple & compact but comfortable self contained accommodation. It is accessed via its own door from the garden & has everything you need for a short break. The space has it's own kitchen, bathroom, lounge & 2 bedrooms. It has a microwave oven & plug in cooking hob for basic cooking. Unfortunately no dogs permitted. This property has a steep & narrow staircase making it unsuitable for some people. As this part of the house was designed for staff back in 1865, it has lower ceilings, smaller windows and a steep narrow staircase up to the rooms. This makes it unsuitable for anyone with mobility issues, toddlers or really large suitcases. Room 1 - Double bed with north facing views. Room 2 - Either a super king or twin depending on your requirements - garden views The kitchen and lounge are compact, but you are welcome to use the garden & BBQ. We can provide a stair gate and travel cot. Guests are welcome to sit out in our beautiful garden and even have a go at croquet. There is a BBQ available if the weather permits. Plenty of parking space at the front of the house. We live in the main part of the house that is also a B&B. We're never far away if you need anything. Brora is located half way between Inverness and John O'Groats on the NC500. The farmhouse is in the middle of our livestock farm, right next to Clynelish & Brora Distilleries and just 10minutes drive from Dunrobin Castle. We are 1 mile from Brora village, which is well serviced with several restaurants and a good small supermarket. There is plenty to see and do locally in the wider Sutherland area and we can point you in the right direction to start exploring this beautiful region. We recommend you have a vehicle to get around as public transport is limited (though vehicle-less travel is not impossible). There is plenty of parking at the front of the house. I provide breakfast basics of bread, milk, oj, cereals, butter, tea, coffee, etc. There are also cooking staples like oil, salt & pepper, sauces, mustards, etc. If you need anything, please don't hesitate to ask.
