Large house & private garden - stunning sea views
Set in a beautiful location between the Menai Strait and Snowdonia National Park in a private walled garden, every window provides breathtaking sea or mountain views. Whether soaking up the stunning sunsets from the comfort of the hot tub, taking a mountain walk from your front door or exploring all the adventure the area has to offer, this is the perfect escape. Sleeps up to 10+5 in 5 bedrooms. A beautiful place to spend time and also a fabulous location from which you can explore all that North Wales has to offer. Bedroom 1 has a Kingsize bed and a foam fold out sofa bed which is suitable for two small or one large child. The bedroom has patio doors to two balconies, front and rear, both with far reaching views. Bedroom 2 has an antique brass double bed and beautiful views towards the hills. Between bedrooms 1 & 2 is a small landing , a bathroom with bath and a shower cubicle, and a separate toilet. Bedroom 3 has bunk beds and a trundle bed underneath. Next to this is the main bathroom with a large double bath with a shower over. Off the galleried landing is a door to another balcony with stunning views out to Anglesey and Puffin Island. Bedroom 4 has a kingsize bed and windows front and rear so more gorgeous views. Bedroom 5 is downstairs and has a kingsize bed and twin beds - one of which has a trundle bed underneath. There is a small cloakroom with a toilet and sink next door to bedroom 5. The large lounge has a vaulted ceiling and huge windows overlooking the gardens and out to sea, and if you ever get fed up of the views there's a smart TV and a stereo to keep you entertained . The stairs here are open tread and lead up to the internal galleried landing. The conservatory is used as a separate sitting/games room - with TV and games console. Doors lead out to the patio, with 6 personJacuzzi hot tub, the rear garden with lawn, fruit trees and pond area. (NB the pond is shallow and great for spotting wildlife. It will have a safety grid fitted but is unfenced so children should be supervised - having said that, we grew up here and our children, nephews and nieces have all spent many happy summers and weekends here since birth - it's a very family friendly home). Back inside, in the dining area, the dining table seats 8 and the kitchen right next to it has another table which can seat 5 or 6. The kitchen has a double oven, microwave, induction hob, fridge, toaster and plenty of pots, pans and cooking utensils (there are also Chinese, Indian, and fish & chips takeaways in the village when you don't feel like cooking - and plenty of great local restaurants within twenty minutes or so) - off the kitchen is a utility room with a further large fridge and large freezer, a washing machine, tumble drier, iron and ironing board. Spiral stairs lead up from here back to the landing outside bedroom 1. There are stair gates at the top of both sets of stairs and at the bottom of the main stairs. -Stunning views from all rooms (the only thing you can't escape here is the beautiful scenery!) -Incredible sunsets over the Menai Strait -Patio area and hot tub with far reaching sea views -Large private walled garden to the rear, with more sea views! -Walled and gated driveway to the front with parking for up to 7 cars -Private 7kW untethered EV charger -43" Blaupunkt Smart LED TV in the living area with Blu-Ray, VHS, Chromecast and a spare HDMI to connect your own console/PC -Super-Fast WiFi throughout the house -Marantz audio system (CD/DAB/Internet) with speaker output to living room, kitchen or both. -Grid electricity supplemented by Solar installation with powerwall battery storage for very low carbon emissions -Daily songbird wake up call You have access to the whole house, garden and its amenities. Several taxi firms service the area too. There is a bus stop within walking distance (15 mins down a bumpy country lane) so a car is not strictly essential, but is definitely recommended so that you can easily visit all the attractions in the area. Supermarkets nearby that can deliver groceries to the house include Waitrose, Tesco, Asda, Morrisons and Sainsbury's. There’s also a Co-op and Nisa as well as Chinese, Indian and Fish & Chips takeaways. Hosted by Tom & Lottie. We grew up here and now both live locally, the house is still used regularly by our families and the extended family. We hope you love staying at our childhood home. You can check in yourself with the key code but we are only a phone call or text away if you have any questions. Located a 5 minute drive from the beautiful seaside village of Llanfairfechan in North Wales, you can be building sandcastles, paddling in the sea, or up in the mountains in no time. Llanfairfechan beach is gorgeous, wide and sandy but should you require more excitement, Zip World is only 20 minutes away, Surf Snowdonia (Adventure Park), Beaumaris, Ropeworks Llanberis, Caernarfon Castle and Llandudno are all within half an hour’s drive. Birdwatchers can enjoy the nature reserve with bird hide at Glan y Mor Elias a short walk away. You can regularly spot buzzards from the garden and we are visited by squirrels most days (you’ll see them scampering along the back garden wall) and if you’re quiet you may be lucky enough to see the family of bunnies. You won't be short of things to see and do. To get the most from your stay, having your own transport is recommended. Llanfairfechan is on the main North Wales railway network - there's a small station in the village or the main ones (Llandudno Junction and Bangor) are both about 20 minutes drive away (there is car hire available in Llandudno Junction). There are local bus and taxi services, but as with many rural areas getting around in your own vehicle makes life much more straightforward. Supermarkets that can deliver groceries to the house include Waitrose, Tesco, Asda, Morrisons and Sainsbury's and there's a Co-op 5 minutes away in the village. We are committed to reducing our carbon footprint hence we offer on-site 7KW untethered Electric Vehicle Charging. The house has 8kWp of solar generation installed and on-site battery storage to make full use of the solar energy when the sun is not shining.
