The Aspen Suite at Superior Gateway Lodge

With east and south windows, you wake with the morning sun through the forest. The suite has huge log beams, a queen poster bed and two sitting chairs. A massage shower, granite vanity and handmade copper sink add to your comfort. Experience all the North Shore offers, then come enjoy a fully equipped kitchen and relax in the living room with it’s awesome one of a kind field stone fireplace, which you also enjoy on the massive 1000 ft deck and cabana (during the Summer/Fall) The Lodge is simply stunning, built with over 80 hand hewn, locally sourced Pines and a matching garage to boot! Our 40 acres is a small sample of the majestic northern woods. We have a small pond with a fire pit to enjoy the night sky and roast marshmallows. For winter guests we’re <1 mile from a CJ Ramstad/North Shore State Trail entrance! We have lots of future plans for walking trails along an existing 1/2 mile access road to the back acreage so check back soon. *** For the health of all our guests, Superior Gateway Lodge requires COVID 19 vaccination *** We'll email you prior to your stay and include the passcode to enter the main door to the lodge. Inside you will have a welcome pack and your key to your room will be on the key rack behind the door. Owners, Beth and Jeff, will be on the property in the separate basement level to assist with any of your needs during your stay. We are 8 miles West of Two Harbors and the temperature can differ as much as 10-15 degrees warmer off the lake. There can be fog in Tow Harbors and sun at the lodge as our elevation rises quickly even 250 ft from one end of our 40 acres to the other. Although you’ll need a vehicle to get here, once here you’ll want a mountain bike, hiking boots and snowshoes!
