Summary: Lovely 2 bedroom apartment with stunning views of the Afan Forest Park. The Nook is very well equipped, including a bathroom with shower over bath, fully fitted kitchen, living area, flat screen TV & WIFI. A double bed in bedroom 1 and built-in bunks in bedroom 2+ a single bed. Lounge has a double sofa bed. Shared access (via external stairs) to a garden, including a summer house, BBQ & utility room with additional showers, washing & drying machines. Well behaved dogs are allowed with prior notice. The Space: The Nook is a great self-contained apartment in a truly stunning setting. It has everything you will need for a relaxing break with support always on hand when required. Central heating, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. Note that the 6th person sleeps on a double sofa bed in lounge. Travel cot and highchair available on request. Welcome pack is provided to get you up and running. The property benefits from its own utility room with an additional shower, sink and washer/dryer. External stair access to an enclosed garden with patio, garden furniture, summerhouse and BBQ (shared with one other property. There is a bike store and private parking for 1 car. Strictly no smoking inside the property please. Guest Access: The Nook is all at ground level, though additional garden facilities are accessed via some outdoor steps. The Neighborhood: The 'Peak', 'Nook' 'Trail' and 'Riverside' are part of a family of beautiful holiday apartments in the stunning Afan Valley in South Wales ran by Afan Valley Escapes The Afan Valley is renowned to attract keen Mountain bikers. It's attractive if you like fishing or long walks. The Afan Valley 12 mile walking and cycling path runs directly behind these beautiful apartments so is easily accessible. There is a general store only 2 doors away and several lovely restaurants in the area. The lovely beach of Aberavon beach is in easy reach. The wonderful grounds and castle of the Margam Country Park is also very near. Let your adrenaline flow on Afan Forrest Park's six mountain bike trails. Mile after mile of former railway line awaits you, a great way to explore the outstanding beauty that awaits you. If you prefer to walk, there are short strolls or long ramble routes, Afan Forest Park has something for everyone. Near-by Glyncorrwg trail has food, bike shop, fishing and a great atmosphere! There are several visitor centres within easy reach. Known as the heart and soul of Wales, The Valleys of South Wales are a must-see destination, with Afan Valley in the very heart.
