The Twin Oaks King Suite is a private suite within the charming Abita Springs Hotel. The Hotel has 5 rooms and is located in a beautifully renovated historic house, overlooking a lush courtyard and unique artesian spring. The Parlor King Suite features a private entrance from the wraparound porch, a large marble bathroom with clawfoot tub and custom tile shower, a king bed, and a foyer with seating and minibar. The Twin Oaks King Suite is up one flight of stairs and is located on a quiet corner at the back of the house, overlooking the courtyard. Guests are welcome to enjoy the wraparound porch--a great place for coffee or an evening cocktail. Guests can also find a quiet place to sit in the courtyard and listen to the soothing sound of running water as it flows from the natural artesian spring. Our manager is usually on site from 11am-3pm, but lives nearby and is only a phone call away. Guests can enjoy the flexibility of keyless entry, as we provide a key code for self check-in and out. We are located right in the heart of Abita Springs, an easy walk to local attractions including the Abita Mystery House, Trailhead Museum, Abita Springs Park. We are located right along the Tammany Trace Hike and Bike Trail and offer bike rentals on site. The Abita Brew Pub, Abita Cafe, the Maple Street Bakery, and Artigues Market, as well as the local fruit stand and weekly farmers market (Sundays) are all within a block or two. We are just 40 miles from New Orleans, right across Lake Pontchartrain, and only 5 miles off of Interstate 12. The easiest way to get here is by car. Once you're in St. Tammany, the Tammany Trace offers a 31 mile hike, bike, and horseback trail that connects Abita Springs to nearby towns of Covington, Mandeville, and Slidell.
