This beautiful holiday apartment in Calco is located in an ancient historical villa of the late 1600s and equipped with a swimming pool. The property is about 18 km from the beaches of Lake Como, which is known for its fascinating villages, the beautiful villas and the possibility to practice windsurfing, kitesurfing, sailing. The accommodation is on two levels occupying the entire wing of the ancient 17th century villa. On the ground floor is the living area with a large veranda overlooking the courtyard, a spacious living room with fireplace, kitchen and a large dining room with fireplace, from which the exclusive garden (200 m²) is accessed. The outdoor area is equipped with sofas, table, chairs and barbecue, ideal for enjoying appetizers, lunches and dinners. On the first floor there is the sleeping area with a large lobby, a master bedroom with en-suite bathroom, two double bedrooms with shared bathroom and a fourth bedroom with two single beds with private bath. From the villa starts a wonderful Italian garden with terraces, balconies, stone decorations and hedges. On the exterior side of the garden you can enjoy a glimpse of Lake Sartirana (2 km), a natural reserve and beloved destination for photographers. In the most sheltered area of the garden is the ancient limonaia overlooking the beautiful swimming pool (it features a gradual depth of 3 m). At the entrance to the pool area is a large clubhouse with armchairs, sofas and ping pong table. In addition to Lake Como in 15 km distance, you can reach the beaches of Lake Garlate, as well as Lake Annone with a nearby golf course and the Spa center of Monticello Brianza. At 18 km distance you will find the jetty of Lecco from where you can reach by hydrofoils or boats the localities of Varenna, Bellagio, Como, Cernobbio and all the main towns of Lake Como. For hikers and mountain bikers, there are many routes and cycle paths along the rivers. The fourth bathroom is in the basement floor.
