Our lovingly furnished house (max. 4 people, 60 square meters, non-smoker) is located in the child-friendly holiday park "de Kreek", approx. 300 meters from the Grevelingen Sea and the modern marina. In the beautiful living area with an open gallery there is a fireplace, stereo, DVD and TV. WiFi is free. The practical kitchen has a ceramic hob, dishwasher, microwave-oven combination, coffee maker and large fridge with freezer compartment. In the valuable bathroom you will find a shower, a hanging toilet, a hanging washbasin, towel radiator, etc. There are two bedrooms, one with a double bed (180x90) and another with a bunk bed (90x90). The terrace takes you directly into the quiet park with various games and sports facilities. Your own property is almost invisible. The house has a front and rear garden area. The rear garden is almost secluded and has a terrace with a matching garden lounge. From here the children have free rein into the green. The general car park is approx. 100m away and borders the center of Aquadelta. The very central but quiet location characterizes this house. Here you will immediately find opportunities for basketball, table tennis, volleyball, playgrounds and much more. On the very short way to the center of Aquadelta there is a mini golf course and tennis courts. Then you get directly to the center, located on the dike. Here you have other sports such as squash, bowling, a small indoor playground, billiards, restaurants, snack bars, bike rentals and a supermarket. In summer there is animation here, if you want to use it. Around the corner on the way to the dike is the Wasserette, where various washing machines and dryers can be used for a fee. A WiFi hotspot can also be used free of charge in the Kaffee Aquadelta. When you arrive at the dike, you have a wonderful view of the marina and the Grevelinger Sea. Various bathing opportunities and the small beach can also be found here. Whether sailing, motor boating, surfing, swimming, everything is possible here. The rear property of the house is hardly visible from the left and right side and looks out into the green. About 60 m from the house there is a small path that is rarely used. Stroll along the Vijverlaan and arrive at one of the general parking lots. From there, past the mini golf and tennis courts, you are right in the center of the Aquadelta, where the indoor pool can also be found. The center of Aquadelta is located directly on the dike, where the Grevelinger Sea and the marina are located. The house is located on the island of Schouwen-Duiveland in the Zeeland region. Zeeland is also known for sunny days, on average 150 days more than in North Rhine-Westphalia, as they say. The Grevelinger Meer is the largest salt water lake in Europe and borders directly on the open North Sea with its wonderful beaches. About 20 minutes drive from the house you are in Scharendijk, where you can reach the large North Sea beaches, but are also directly on the Grevelinger Meer. Fantastic! Local but still quiet location of the holiday home. It is only a few meters to the center of Aquadelta, where there is a restaurant, cafe, snack bar, bowling, squash, supermarket, etc. The holiday park de Kreek is located near the old fishing village of Bruinisse and can also be reached on foot along the dike. In Bruinisse itself you will find various restaurants and shops as well as supermarkets etc. It's a small, vivid place. On the left side of the dike you will find the new and modern yacht harbor. Here you will also find bathing opportunities in the semicircular bathing bay in summer. The marina also has restaurants and a supermarket. The beautiful town of Zierikzee is 13 km from the house. Past Zierikzee you drive towards the large North Sea beaches, where you can experience one of the best beaches in the Netherlands. The city of Middelharnis, the Grevelinger Damm, golf club etc. is not far from the house. If you have climbed the dike from the direction of the Aquadelta, you get a direct view of the Grevelinger Sea and the new and very accurate marina. The marina offers many possibilities such as, of course, berths for motor boats and primarily sailing ships, a restaurant with a very nice ambience inside and outside, terraces, some of which are also laid out floating on the water. Furthermore, the marina has leisure areas, very nicely laid out for the children, a supermarket, boat accessories shop, etc. On the left side along the marina you get to the sailing school, where you can pursue various water sports such as canoe & sloop rental, banana boat, sailing & surfing lessons, etc. The good snack bar invites you to linger in a relaxed atmosphere, where you can eat and drink cheaply. The snack bar and the sailing school are only open seasonally. Right next to the left side of the sailing school or the marina, you have the small "beach section". This is an artificial, semicircular, natural bathing beach. On the right side along the dike or the marina in the direction of Bruinisse you get to another small beach, where there is a bathing platform etc. even in the season. Bruinisse is a village with approx. 4000 inhabitants and can be reached on foot from the house. In the direction of Aquadelta and the marina, on the right at the dike, you can walk to Bruinisse in a few minutes. In the center of Bruinisse there is a very good supermarket, various restaurants, shops and a large and good snack bar. Bruinisse was one of the last areas on the island of Duiveland to be diked in 1467 by Adriaan van Borsele. The silt areas in the surrounding area were ideal for mussel farming, so that this branch of industry (until 1963) together with oyster farming became an important source of income. This part of the past comes to life in the fishing museum (Visserijmuseum in the Oudestraat). Part of today's mussel ship fleet is located in the port of Zijpe (east port). In the former port of call of the ferry between Anna-Jacobapolder and Zijpe, mussels are now grown in hanging culture. In Bruinisse there are 31 fishing ships, [1] they and tourism shape the place. On the dike at the Grevelingenmeer there is a sculpture of an open shell. The nearest beaches can be reached in a good 20 minutes by car in Scharendijke. Scharendijke borders the Grevelinger Meer with the North Sea. Even the drive to the stands is fantastic, as you can see the Grevelinger Sea on the right and the North Sea with its wonderful beaches on the left. Once here, the beaches run almost halfway around the island, unbelievable. So for many miles just beaches. Of course there are various beach restaurants. We particularly recommend the Perrys, where you can experience a really extraordinary ambience, good service and products, etc. If these beaches are not enough and you want to enjoy the beaches and the dunes even more intensively, even during the high season not overcrowded, drive past Burgh Haamstede towards the beaches and you will experience more and even more intense dunes and beaches.
