The Sandy Point Beach Escape apartment is located high on a sand dune at Sandy Point, within 100 metres of an access track to one of Victoria’s most beautiful surf beaches. The two-bedroom Beach Escape apartment can cater for up to six people in both style and comfort. The basic price is for up to a maximum of 6 guests with access to both bedrooms. The main bedroom has 1 x queen bed. The 2nd bedroom has 1 x queen, 1 x king single and 1 x trundle bed, partially made up and stored under the queen bed. Trundle bed linen is stored in the cupboard. Please finish making up trundle bed if needed. The trundle bed is left stored away so as to give more space in the bedroom if it is not needed. If you only need 1 bedroom with a single queen bed, book the 1 bedroom apartment. It does not have access to the 2nd bedroom, which can be requested if purchased. Elegantly-appointed Beach Escape is filled with natural light, and provides memorable seaside accommodation for a couple, for a family, and for small groups of friends. Beach Escape is spacious yet private and is surrounded by native bush - mature tea-tree and wattle trees - as well as the sounds of the surf and birds. It is situated on the first level of the Sandy Point Beach Escape complex. The apartment has polished timber floors in the main living area, along with full-length north-facing windows and a glass sliding door giving access to a large sheltered shady deck. On the deck, guests will find an outdoor furniture setting and a small electric barbeque. The open-plan living and dining area features top-quality furniture, fixtures and lighting, together with a reverse cycle air conditioner for heating and cooling. All windows are double glazed for comfort and noise reduction. The apartment is fitted with a flat-screen colour television set, a stereo system and a DVD player. Beach Escape is ideal to escape from the pressures of modern life such as mobile phones and computers. For those guests needing the use of a mobile phone, there is access to the Telstra and Optus Mobile networks. There is limited access to the Vodafone network, depending on the Vodafone plan. Internet access can be achieved through the use of computers fitted with a Telstra or Optus wireless broadband interface. Wireless Wi-Fi access connection to the Internet can be provided on request. A free allowance of 2GByte e per booked night or 20GByte per booked week. Once the free allowance plus any purchased data packs have been exhausted access speed may be slowed and can only be speeded up again with the purchase of a data pack. There is a small electric barbeque on the deck. Beach Escape has two bedrooms, and all linen, covered doonas, blankets, and bath towels are supplied. Bring your own beach towels. Both bedrooms also have plenty of storage space with built-in wardrobes in each one. The main bedroom has a queen bed fitted with a comfortable foam overlay, a padded mattress protector and quality pillows. The second bedroom is large and is furnished with a queen bed, a king single bed. To enable more space in the bedroom there is a single trundle bed stored under the queen bed. Trundle bed linen is stored in the cupboards underneath. Please complete making the trundle bed if required. Beach Escape has a family bathroom accessed from the main living area, with a shower, hand basin and toilet. Sandy Point Beach Escape is a memorable coastal retreat for a couple, two couples or a family, sleeping up to six people. There is parking for up to two cars. Wheel Chair and Car Access, and Pets Sandy Point Beach Escape is not wheelchair friendly. Sandy Point Beach Escape is situated on the first floor of the Sandy Point Beach Escape Complex. Access to the Sandy Point Beach Escape apartment is via a flight of stairs (16 steps). Once inside the apartment, everything is on the same level. Sandy Point Beach Escape is situated high on top of a sand dune. Access to the carport is via a steep driveway and is not suitable for trailers, caravans and boats, which should be left in one of the quiet side streets. There is off-street parking for in the carport next to the electricity metre box. The property is not fenced and there are no no grass areas except for the verge. Pets cannot be left securely outside when away from the property and access to the apartment is by means of grated stairs which are not suitable for pets with small paws. Hence Sandy Point beach escape is NOT PET-FRIENDLY and NO PETS ALLOWED. Sandy Point, Wilsons Promontory National Park, Shallow Inlet Marine Park Sandy Point is a small township on the shores of Waratah Bay. The beautiful surf beach is one of the safest surf beaches in Victoria. Close by is Shallow Inlet (5 minutes drive) which is a tidal estuary suitable for fishing, boat launching and wind water sports. You can drive your car onto the hard beach. Just watch out that the incoming tide does not strand your car on the beach. .Wilsons Promontory National Park is a short 30-minute drive away.. Tarr Bulga National parks, with specimens of 600-year-old temperate rain forest plus abundant birds and wildlife, is just over an hours drive away In the township is a well stocked general store and café that provides meals during high season. The cafe is not always open when you expect it to be open. The nearby town of Foster has retail outlets providing fresh fruit, meat and local seafood. Foster has excellent medical facilities and hospital. It also has many other retail outlets, a pub with bistro, petrol and take away food. Fish Creek has the well known "Fishy Pub" and Ko's Bar and grill. Max's Cafe in Foster has upmarket dining experiences Currently, there is no public transport to Sandy Point. The V Line bus connects Melbourne to Foster and Fish Creek.
