Studio in Pithari,Akrotiri,15 minutes away from city of Chania, the sea, the airport, as well as our port and National Road. It's ideal for quite summer and winter holidays for couples. A compeletely equiped, separate appartment, which is a part of a bigger house built in a private area of four acres, offers joy, peace and quite, as well as a wonderful view. It is a studio of 50 sqm, fully equipped in a modern style, yet in direct contact and harmony with the nature around it. Situated on the eastern side of a larger home where our family lives, on a private plot of 4 acres full of olive trees and pine trees, shrubs, herbs and wildflowers of local flora and with a splendid view of the Souda bay and the mountain range of the White Mountains.All around, the tweets of birds and the hum of cicadas is heard. To get to the apartment, you pass through a private 70-meter alley that leads to a large park (shared), cross the white-fenced courtyard of the central residence from where a small stone staircase leads to the entrance. The appartment is dominated by the element of natural wood. Basic furniture were designed and constructed with love and taste in hand, while some vintage pieces of special beauty are distinguished, such as the desk and two mirrors of the bedroom and bathroom, the 40's radio and the old sewing machine.The apartment is designed for people who love nature as it is located next to a natural rock garden, which is organised as a herb garden, partly shaded by pine trees. Already in the entrance of the apartment awaits visitors a "rural" corner, with gardening tools for those who want to spend some time soaking in the garden and learning from the owner the uses and qualities of Cretan herbs. A traditional Cretan treat is welcoming you while the home is equipped with everything that includes a full house as well as everything you may need for your personal care. A full kitchen with filter and espresso coffee makers, a desk to touch your laptop, a comfortable living room and a double handmade bed, dominating the highest level of the house, from which one can enjoy day and night the stunning sea and mountain view from the large windows.The view is even better than the balcony of the studio, which "sees" also towards the rock garden and the small pine forest. From here, you can watch the most beautiful sunrise: You'll have to sucrifice your lie-in, but it will be unforgettable! We named our property "Garden of Zephyrus" because it accepts almost all year the favorable influence of the winds, sometimes strong and sometimes gentle and relaxing. The apartment is a perfect seasonal observatory, located 300 meters above sea level. WHAT DO WE DO FOR COVID-19 The apartment is disinfected for Covid-19 according to the instructions of the US Centers for Disease Control, the Hellenic National Public Health Organization and the Greek Ministry of Tourism, ie: It stays closed for 24 hours for disinfection purposes before and after each arrival, while it is well ventilated before cleaning. Cleaning workers and owners-managers follow all the rules of personal protection and hygiene and have been fully informed about the Covid prevention and management protocols. All surfaces, floors and objects are thoroughly disinfected with cleaning solutions with 10% diluted household bleach or with at least 70% alcohol, which are considered suitable for disinfection by coronaio. The apartment has cleaners and disinfectants suitable for Covid-19, such as an antiseptic device and alcohol wipes, in addition to hand soap, kitchen paper, toilet paper and cream soap. All bedding is white and can be washed and ironed at the highest temperature recommended by the manufacturer. The same goes for sofa covers, towels and apartment curtains. All unnecessary items that could cause the spread of the virus, such as decorations, magazines, books, coffee machines, kettles, coffee packs, tea and all mini bar products, etc., have been temporarily removed from our apartment. Guests can, if they wish, settle without our presence. You will find the keys in a special keychain with a combination. Our visitors are fully responsible for their personal hygiene and their own prevention and protection against coronavirus. Regardless of the facilities and protocols of disinfection and cleaning that we observe, one of our customers can stick Covid-19 during his stay in Greece, if he does not take care to protect himself. If a visitor meets the criteria for defining a COVID-19 case, we supply him and the people who accompany him with protective masks and gloves and follow the prescribed protocol by notifying the competent local medical service.
