Iluka Blue

Iluka Blue is one of the first houses to be re-built following the Christmas 2015 bushfires. Sitting high on Iluka Avenue, the house enjoys spectacular views of Separation Creek beach, the ocean of Bass Strait and the Great Ocean Road, as well as views towards Wye River and Sturt Point. It is a stunning modern design home, with a homely welcoming warmth in the choice of fit out and furniture. The entry level houses three bedrooms, two bathrooms and the laundry. The master bedroom enjoys sensational ocean views and has a large ensuite bathroom featuring freestanding bath with ocean views and large walk in shower. The other two bedrooms also both have ocean views, the queen bedroom oriented to look straight ahead at the view while laying in bed. The third bedroom has double bed and a bunk bed (two singles) along with a floor mattress. There is a TV with Foxtel connection in this third bedroom as well. All bedrooms have individually controlled air conditioning/heating, electric blinds, and beautiful furniture and linen. Upstairs is made entirely of the open plan living, dining and kitchen area. A stacked stone wall lines the gas fireplace, with tan leather lounges seated alongside the fireplace and the large wall mounted TV. Enjoy a night in with a movie on Foxtel or DVD, there is also great digital TV reception. If you’d prefer a book, choose from the selection on the floor to ceiling bookshelf. There is good Telstra mobile reception at the house. Limited WIFI of 10GB per stay is available for guests. The kitchen is fully self contained and includes large fridge, 900mm wide oven and gas cooktop with wok burner. Combined with a dishwasher, microwave, and a great range of cookware will have you cooking up a gourmet weekend breakfast or dinner. Your morning coffee is sorted with the DeLongi Coffee machine, coffee grinder and percolator. Bring beans or ground coffee and choose your machine. Enjoy the sensational ocean and coastline views from the dining table, lounge room – and from nearly every room in the house. Glass sliding doors from the dining room lead on to the sheltered North East facing deck. With a Weber BBQ, solid outdoor dining setting and banana lounges, this is a great space for gathering together and entertaining. This deck also has direct access to a fully fenced lawn area.
