Nestled within 20 hectares of land, the farmhouse is sheltered by a variety of oak trees and acacia trees surrounded by olive groves and a landscape of gently rolling hills. The farmhouse offers a conveniently located swimming pool on the grounds where once the farm animals roamed, a play area with a swing, a gravel bowling court, volley ball and a table tennis. You will stay in Girasole Apartment. This apartment is situated in the open countryside, on a low hill surrounded by olive groves and Mediterranean woodland, off the road that leads from Volterra to Pisa, down a winding lane flanked by cypress trees. Suitable for four people, Girasole Apartment has a comfortable bedroom with one double bed and one single bed. There is a mezzanine relax area over the dining room with a double sofabed. Air-conditioning and tiled floors keep the rooms pleasantly cool in the summer, and the matching soft furnishings in each room create a really cosy feel. Girasole Apartment is on the first floor and overlooks the garden. We have made it as warm and welcoming as possible, combining modern comforts with classic country house features. From the entrance hall of the apartment, a grand doorway will lead you through to the living area. The comfy four seater sofa make this elegant room the perfect place to relax after a day out and about on the Volterra neighborood. At the center of the room, a wooden dining table with four high-backed chairs provides ample space for eating in. That said, we think that more often than not, guests will be tempted to open the doors out onto the sunny garden and dine al fresco. The living area has a well-equipped kitchen rustic style. Complete with a four-ring hob, oven, fridge/freezer, as well as all the utensils anyone who loves cooking could need, you really won't want for anything when preparing food in this homely environment. The newly renovated bathroom is fully-tiled. There is a walk in shower, a WC and a bidet.
