As you drive up to the property, you will be struck by the property's attractive exterior, featuring Tudor-style paneling, a beautiful lawn + patio area, and, if you're visiting in the spring/summer months, you'll see the farmhouse in full bloom – shrouded in climbing foliage and rose bushes. Cyder Press House is ideal for families and larger groups, particularly those looking for plenty of open space where they can explore and relax. This is a great place for those wanting to holiday together with plenty of activities on-site, including ping-pong, a playroom and a games room with foosball and Xbox. The House sleeps 8 guests in 4 bedrooms, 2 of which are en-suite, 1 family bathroom and 2 additional WCs. Children will love the winding gardens at Cyder Press House (perfect for a game of hide and seek!), with plenty of outdoor games to choose from such as a covered ping pong table, swingball, croquet set, hula-hoops and much more! Weather permitting, guests can enjoy a BBQ and dinner al fresco with a complete patio outdoor dining suite and comfy rattan furniture, as well as multiple seating areas around the gardens and property. Inside, Cyder Press House is everything you may expect of a 17th Century farmhouse, with fine craftsmanship, wooden beams, large fireplaces, flagstone floors and lots of wonderful little nooks and crannies. However, you haven't completely stepped back in time, there is also every convenience you would expect from a 21st Century home. The kitchen is spacious and very well equipped featuring an AGA and double fronted American fridge, while a beautiful period dining room sets the scene for entertaining. There are two games/playrooms for both little and big kids, one offering more traditional toys and games, and the other providing a large, flat-screen HD television and Xbox One. Ground Floor Entrance Hall: Enter into a small covered porch area (you may notice some nesting birds above your head in the outdoor porch!) and then straight through to the… Dining Room: Located in the oldest part of the house, the beautiful dining room has a deeply historic and traditional feel to it thanks to the flagstone floor, rich wooden beams, and large original fireplace, now for decorative use only. Featuring a grand wooden dining table with seating for up to 12 guests, it's the perfect space for everyone to get to together! Kitchen: A lovely farmhouse kitchen with plenty of space and facilities. Featuring a breakfast table for up to 8 guests, cushioned window seat, and lots of worktop space, it's a great place to cook and socialise. Featuring a double fridge/freezer, AGA, conventional hob and oven, dishwasher, washing machine, toaster, kettle, microwave and plenty of pots, pans, and utensils – there's everything here that you will need! There is a WC and washbasin in a room connected to the far end of the kitchen. Playroom: A perfect little room for children to let loose in! Filled with toys, games, bean bags, a sofa, and a foosball table that can be converted into mini pool, ice hockey, and ping pong – this space will be a guaranteed hit with the younger members of the group! There are even patio doors with direct access to the patio/garden. Sitting Room: A light, creamy-hued room with white-washed beams and original oak features, the sitting room is a great place to relax, either in front of the wood-burning stove or on one of the sumptuous sofas. With a carpeted floor, a TV, and plenty of books + a beautiful marble solitaire set, this room has a deliciously warm and cosy feel. Games Room: Featuring a 55” flat screen, HD TV with an Xbox One, two controllers, games, and DVDs – this room is perfect for gamers looking to chill-out or for a movie night, with two sofas, a carpeted floor, and plenty of bean bags and cushions! First Floor Bedroom One: A lovely super-king double bedroom nestled under the original beams with plenty of storage space and a dressing table. Step up into the… En-Suite Bathroom: A very pretty peach-toned private bathroom with roof lights, a luxurious toll top bathtub with central taps, and an extendable shower head, WC, and washbasin. Bedroom Two: A spacious twin bedroom that can be converted into a super-king double. Featuring a very high original ceiling and unique mezzanine storage area accessed by a steep ladder as well as additional wardrobe space and a fully stocked bookshelf! Guests staying in this room benefit from their own… En-Suite Bathroom: A well-equipped en-suite, featuring a walk-in shower cubicle, WC, and washbasin. Head through the teeny-tiny mouse hole-style door into the landing. Here you will find the Wi-Fi router as well as a large hanging cupboard and the boiler. Turn right into… Bedroom Three: A cosy twin bedroom with exposed beams and a bird-décor theme. Guests staying in this bedroom have use of a quirky feature – their own WC and washbasin in the bedroom! A real feature of this bedroom is its elegant, white-washed, curved beams, that would have originally been part of a hull of a ship in Gloucester docks. Outside Guests have plenty of outdoor space at Cyder Press Farm, with several lawns to choose from. Both the Barn and Farmhouse have their own private gardens as well as a front central lawn and shared patio area. There is plenty of outdoor seating available, as well as a main rattan furniture set and outdoor dining table, and parasols.
