Comfortable nice cottage in Pescoluse - Salento

This vacation home is located on a hill above the long sandy beaches of Pescoluse, also called "Maldive del Salento", in a large private olive grove. The view of the sea and the beautiful sunsets are unique from there. The location is particularly quiet and airy, and even in midsummer. You can reach the beaches in about three minutes by car. In the area there is no noise as of pizzerias, bars, lines of cars, mopeds and pedestrians which is not so common near the sea in Italy. Pesocluse is situated between Gallipoli and Santa Maria di Leuca, the southernmost point of the boot heel on the Ionian Sea. With a floor space of approximately 95 m², this holiday home has a large living area, two bedrooms, a bathroom, a toilet, a terrace and a carport. The living room is furnished with a TV area, satellite TV and DVD player. The sofa bed was purchased new in 2016 and has a sleeping area of ​​160 x 190 cm for two persons. The other sofa bed is also new and for one person.The open kitchen for example, has an oven, gas hob, fridge freezer, coffee maker, filter coffee maker, dishwasher, microwave and a toaster. The house has two bedrooms with air conditioning. There is a double bed, 160 x 190 cm, and one bunk bed, each 80 x 90 cm. In the bathroom there is a bathtube in which one can take a shower, and a sink and a toilet. In the guest bathroom is a washing machine. Thanks to solar energy there are a lot of hot water. The house is habitable even in winter. In the bedrooms, the air conditioning works well as hot air dispenser and in the living room has a wood stove which can heat the whole house. The house has WIFI (free). A wide glass door leads from the living area to the large panoramic terrace whichis is partly covered and offers sea views. Here are a table, chairs, loungers and invite you to eat, relax and play. The private land is about 8000 square meters. Children and pets can enjoy a lot of freedom. Behind the house is a very large space for parking, covered for two cars. A convenient outdoor shower and a large stone barbecue are available. A cot and highchair are available on request for free. On request the owner tries to satisfy other needs of the children, if there is a possibility to do so. Pets are welcome and are admitted free of charge. In the beach resort Pescoluse there are beach cafes, restaurants and some small shops. Supermarkets are located about in Salve, about 1.5 km, and in the near Presicce. You can also find pharmacies, banks, a post office, cafes, restaurants and other shops. Also in the next resort of Torre Vado, about 1.2 km from Pescoluse, there are a pharmacy, small grocery stores and a fish shop. Behind the beaches begin the olive groves on the hills, which also provide a good opportunity for walking and cycling. Even small towns often have a local center with architectural gems. A visit to Santa Maria di Leuca (old mansions), Gallipoli (La Bella - the beautiful), Lecce (baroque town), Otranto is recommended. The Salento, also Salentine peninsula, is a subregion of Italy in the southern part of Puglia, between the Ionian Sea to the west and the Adriatic Sea to the east. The inhabitants of this area differ from the rest of the Puglia region due to cultural and linguistic differences. From a historical point of view the Salento has heard over several centuries to the ancient Terra d'Otranto. One can find a particular landscape, architecture and gastronomy here. The Salento is of course ideal for a beach holiday in the long summer, but also much more, and not only in summer. Under the terrace there is a completely independent studio with private entrance and private parking.
