We're now taking extra care to disinfect your space due to COVID-19. Welcome to our home. Built in 1927, this home has all the warmth & charm perfect for your extended stay. With all the modern necessities required for comfort: wifi, front loading W/D, keyless entry. Close to major shopping & dining, with the quiet, spacious feeling of rural living. Currently we have 5 private rooms that offer a comfy queen size bed, dresser, ceiling fan, closet, Wifi, and 32" flat screen tv with access to Hulu, Netflix, and Amazon Prime Video. ***Blackout curtains available on request for nightshift workers. Each room is spacious enough to relax into, and the old construction offers a descent amount of sound proofing to make you feel alone in this large home. There are 2 bathrooms: one bedroom has direct access to the downstairs guest bathroom, which contains a lot of storage and a full size walk-in shower. There is a second bathroom on the second floor with a jet tub. Feel free to keep to yourself or venture out into the common areas to meet and greet your fellow guests. We often host interns of all varieties, as well as, other forms of medical and oil&gas contractors; with the occasional foreign exchange student. We pride ourselves on offering a safe and comfortable "home away from home" experience. On-site parking including a 2 car garage, 1 carport, and 2 driveways that can accommodate 2 additional large vehicles. Please enjoy the comfort of the communal living spaces including: The full kitchen: with all new stainless steel appliances stocked with pots, pans, dishes, etc. Now including new high efficiency washer and dryer. Dining and living room: is always available for our guests and equipped with life's day to day needs. Including Movie channel apps and other TV viewing platforms all installed on the smart TV and connected by wifi. My husband and I do not live on property, which allows our guests the full privacy and comfort in the home. My husband works 5 minutes away, and stops in most days to monitor guests and to ensure the home is running smoothly. We are just one quick text or phone call away from any questions or concerns you might have. With a population of around 74,000, Baytown encompasses an area of approximately 34 square miles and boasts a rich environment, as well as a strong historical and economic heritage. The city’s strategic location has encouraged a successful and diverse blend of employment opportunities and recreational activities centered on the area’s waterways. Cross over the scenic Fred Hartman Bridge and you’ll find Baytown, Texas.
