The living room has a comfortable sofa, an armchair and satellite TV and stereo system. The bathroom is equipped with hand basin, shower, toilet, a large mirror and a towel radiator and storage space and hair dryer. Consumables such as soap, toilet paper are available, as well as towels and floor mats. In the bedroom you will find a double bed (180 cm x 200 cm), two bedside tables with lamps, an old, antique wardrobe and two candle chandeliers made of crystal. On arrival, you will find freshly made beds, flowers, a cute little thing and a water bottle. The Hinterburg with back tower is centrally located in the center of Schlitz and has a significant share of the Schlitzer city silhouette. The Hinterburg is one of the five Schlitzer castles, which are integrated into the city wall, forming the medieval city fortifications. In addition to long walks, well-developed cycle paths, a swimming pool, the Pfordter See, city tours and a ride on the back tower offer a varied program. The back tower turns into the biggest candle in the world at Christmas time. The Schlitzer Christmas Market can be found on the historic market square, surrounded by beautiful half-timbered houses, a few meters from the Count's Forstmeisterhaus. The Landesmusikakademie Hessen is also located in Schlitz, which remains Europe's oldest distillery - the Schlitzer distillery. The Landesmusikakademie Hessen with its diverse event and cultural program can be reached within a 5-minute walk. The Schlitzer distillery is located just a few hundred meters from the castle Hinterburg. The Vulkanradweg - a highlight for cyclists and inline skaters - starts right in Schlitz. The Fulda cycle path R1 also runs past Schlitz and connects the cycling destinations Bad Hersfeld and Fulda. Your entrance & apartment key is deposited in a key vault. You will receive the code shortly before your arrival. The holiday apartments can be obtained from 2 pm. Check-out is until 11 o'clock. Exclusive parking is available directly in front of our house. For each of our apartments a private parking space is reserved and signposted. If you need more than one parking space, please contact us in advance. We will gladly coordinate another parking space for you free of charge.  Our house is equipped with a lift. So you can easily reach the apartments. Wi-Fi is available for free throughout the house. You will receive the access code a few days before your arrival. Please note that smoking is prohibited throughout the property. If you want to smoke outside, please use the ashtrays provided. Your dog is welcome in our house! In the apartment "Zur Alten Försterei" and "Countess Anna" can be brought a maximum of 1 dog (fee, 10 EUR / night). This must be registered with us before arrival. You are liable for your dog and we ask for a careful and considerate use of the equipment. Washer and dryer are available for free for shared use.
