There are two water parks within a 30-minute drive of the house and a bus services which runs a return service from Lagos to the water parks and back everyday. There is also a theme park (Zoomarine) within a 45-minute drive and which also runs a bus service from Lagos. Zoomarine's main attractions include exhibitions by dolphins, seals and sea lions, an aquarium with sharks, 4D cinema, various rides, attractions and swimming pools. If you are an animal lover, Lagos Zoo is also only a 10- to 15-minute drive away with the monkey islands a great favourite with children. For keen golfers, there are 40 golf courses in the Algarve, of which over 10 can be found within a 30-minute drive of the apartment. The nearest, Boavista Golf, has 18 holes and is only 3kms away. Lagos marina is only a few minutes' drive away. From here you can take daily boat trips around the caves, go on dolphin watching trips. It is also possible to go sea kayaking, paddle boarding, deep sea fishing and take part in an array of other water-based activities. If you are interested in history Lagos is a city steeped in it, with origins dating as far back as 2000 years BC.
