A visit to the town of Carcassonne located 60 km away is highly recommended. Its unique old town was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The house is just a couple of hours' drive away from the Mediterranean Sea and its beautiful beaches. You can explore the region via the beautiful hiking paths. The Lake Montbel located 12 km away is encircled by a beautiful path. Some other places you can visit are the tiny country of Andorra with its duty free shopping (100 km) and the well-known thermal baths Ax-les-Thermes located 75 km away.
