La Maison de Pierre is a historic house that owes its name to the precious decorated floors of the early '900 that adorn the bedrooms and that have been carefully preserved during the total renovation that affected the building a few years ago. This charming residence, built in stone, also contains in its name a tribute to the man who built it in the early twentieth century: Peter. A name that represents, with its solidity, an ideal bridge between the importance of our history and our traditions and the modernity and lightness of life on the sea. The house is on two floors: the first is the living area with a large living space furnished with taste, freshness and attention to detail. Two large windows fill with light an ideal environment for your relaxation, with a spacious and functional living room, a comfortable and cozy single sofa bed and an extensible table. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need to ensure total comfort in preparing your meals, with crockery and functional and new utensils, electric oven, fridge with freezer, hood. On the upper floor is the sleeping area. The master bedroom, embellished with a ceramic floor that sits like a story carpet at the foot of the bed, is spacious and bright. Very comfortable the bed with slatted frame, the large wardrobe with full-length mirrors and chest of drawers and bedside tables to guarantee you all the space for your clothes. The sleeping area is completed by the bright bathroom with shower and the double room, also characterized by the precious decorated floor, which can accommodate two people in a bunk bed with orthopedic mattresses. La Maison de Pierre is located in Sorso, in the north-western area of Sardinia, a town of about 15,000 inhabitants. The area is flat and slopes from about 300 meters above sea level of the nearby Sennori to the beaches of the Gulf of Asinara, bounded to the west by Porto Torres and to the east by Castelsardo. Sorso has always been a land of vineyards and excellent wines and is part of the City of Wine circuit: during your stay you will be able to know and appreciate the wines of many micro-producers and the various wineries of the territory that have won many awards in the sector in the last years. For your relaxation you will be spoiled for choice among the many miles of free and virtually untouched beach, with the pine forest behind and the Asinara in front; you will also have access to equipped beaches and a water park a stone's throw from the sea, the Water Paradise. A few steps from the Maison you have the Biblioteca Comunale Salvatore Farina, the Baronial Palace, the ancient churches of Santa Croce, San Pantaleo, the Madonna di Noli Me Tollere with its ancient Marian tradition recognized by the Vatican, and many other testimonies of the millennial history of the city . The summer offers many events to animate the streets of Sorso, with evenings dedicated to food and wine and the exaltation of the products of our gardens (Calici di Stelle, festivals of local products such as aubergine, courgette and tomato), events cultural (Time in Jazz, theatrical performances, comedies in Italian and vernacular, concerts on the beach) and sports (the Summer Games that trigger the competition of many young people in the area and offer a beautiful final show at the Marina).
