34 High Street, Bridge
34 High Street is a delightful cottage within the pretty village of Bridge
A beautiful Grade II Listed cottage, dating back to the 1700's. The cottage has been beautifully refurbished and is set in the heart of Bridge Village, situated just 2.5 miles outside the stunning City of Canterbury. The village is in the Nailbourne valley, a quiet rural setting surrounded by farmland, yet with excellent links to London and Dover. The village has 3 supurb pubs along the High Street, as well as a delightful coffee shop, a local shop, post office, pharmacy and hairdressers. As our guests will appreciate once they arrive, the cottage is an elderly building with plenty of original features. We have chosen to present the cottage with a contemporary feel, which we think compliments the living space. On entering the cottage, the lounge provides a warm and cosy space to relax, with a wood burning stove for the colder evenings. There is a dining area within the lounge for guests to sit and eat. The kitchen is set at the back of the cottage, with lovely views of the cottage garden and provides a practical space with all necessary amenities. Outside, the cottage has a really beautiful cottage garden to the rear, with two patio areas designed for seating and relaxing. Back inside, the stairs leading up to the first floor of the cottage are steep, due to the buildings age and care must be taken when going up and down the stairs. On the first floor there is a well proportioned bathroom with shower, and the front facing master bedroom. On the second floor is the second bedroom, with two single beds, bedside table and a chest of drawers.
