This is a recently renovated one level private cottage on an apple orchard acreage. Situated one hour from Victoria Airport and Ferries. It is in close proximity to both Brentwood and Shawnigan Lake private schools. Easy access to outdoor activities including: Whale watching, Hiking, golfing at Arbutus Ridge, swimming, kayaking, fishing and boating in Shawnigan, Lake Cowichan and Pacific Ocean. Note, second bedroom available on request, and is accesable only thru the master bedroom. Local wines can be purchased from the many vineyards in the Cowichan Valley and enjoyed on the large deck while barbecuing. Wild deer can be seen foraging on the apples and abundant shrubs. Fresh eggs and berries next door at the neighbours farm stand. Barbecue,deck,hammock Guests have complete privacy. Owner may be staying in separate suite from time to time. As well in the daytime doing yard work. Guests can freely stroll the property and relax in the orchard. This is a quiet rural setting. This home is smoke free and pet free. No pets policy strictly enforced.
