Pond Cottage is located among 9 acres of stunning, sheltered gardens with an abundance of bird life, river bound land and a wonderful magical pond. You will be arriving to absolute paradise! This spectacular property was featured as part of the 2016 NZ House & Garden Tour. Head up on to the rustic timber veranda, open the front door and be greeted with an eclectic mix of luxury and warm rustic timber charm. Plenty of room for family to come together while still having their own space, featuring 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a teenage retreat with its own kitchenette. The owners have lovingly created the most amazing hideaway that will instantly have your relaxed. The cottage is positioned to beautifully flow out onto a large veranda where you can spend your evenings alfresco dinning, enjoying family time while looking out a the picturesque pond. Wake to the sound of the various bird life, tuis, kereru and quail. In the evening, complete silence, apart from the occasional more-pork and the sound of the river flowing. Truly a hidden rare diamond that is hard to find these days. In summer spend your days swimming in the swimming hole located a few minute stroll away. Covid-19 cancellation policy.  If the Region that the booking person is from has gone into Government forced Covid lockdown preventing the booking guest from physically travelling to our Region, they will be offered the opportunity to move dates or be refunded in full. If the booking guest can not travel due to being Covid positive or being required to isolate and they can provide proof within the same dates of their stay, they will be offered the opportunity to move dates or be refunded in full. Please note: We do not refund for cancelled events due to Covid, standard cancellation policies apply. PLEASE NOTE THE CLEANING FEE: All linen & towels are provided by a commercial linen company and are professionally laundered. Properties have been cleaned prior to guests arrival to meet the Ministry of Health commercial cleaning standards. A part end of stay cleaning service is included. This covers the cleaning of bathrooms, mopping and rubbish removal. Guests are required to leave the property in a tidy and clean state which includes removing all sheets and pillowcases from beds and placing them in the laundry and making sure the kitchen is clean and all dishes are washed prior to departure. All Bach Break properties come well equipped with cooking oil, salt, pepper, coffee, tea, milk, cleaning products, dishwashing liquid, toilet paper, liquid hand soap and body wash. OTHER DETAILS The property is very well equipped with most things you will need on holiday. If you use a hair dryer we ask that you bring one with you as hair dryers aren't supplied.
