Its swimming pool is completely secured and children can play safely within the enclosed garden, giving you peace of mind when you prepare your barbeque on the sheltered and elevated terrace. From the terrace you will be able to enjoy the view of the protected vineyard of Saint Chinian. One of the very spacious bedrooms has an en-suite shower room and a dressing room, it also opens directly onto the terrace. The sun soaked deck around the pool, is equipped with comfortable loungers and an arbour, which will help protect kids from the sun. Lying against the green hills, Cessenon is one of the oldest cities of Languedoc and it reflects on the white waters of the Orb. The medieval heart of this lovely village can be discovered through the small lanes and terraced cafes. You can enjoy a lovely stroll along the river for 13km, but you may prefer to discover the river by canoe. One of the interesting aspects of the village, which isn’t to be missed, is the replica of the Statue of Liberty, former figurehead of a cruise liner. It made in the same workshops as the famous American emblem. To the northwest, a marked trail will guide you through a beautiful forest of eucalyptus, A 14 hectare coppice in the middle of the pine forests. Other discoveries will leave you with an unforgettable memories, such as a visit of the Cathedral of wood lace at Montouliers, 30km away, or the centuries-old megaliths that punctuate the hiking trails between Canal du Midi and Saint-Chinian, in Cébazan, Assignan and Villespassans. Make sure you take the time to go on a beautiful walk along the banks of the Canal du Midi, or push on to the beaches of Valras only 40 minutes away from the villa. For the perfect family day out why not take the children to the Model Museum, where they will be able to wonder at 200m² of LEGO models. For those who like to take a chance in life, a visit to the casino will be right up your alley. Another beautiful sandy beach, perfect to spend the day worshipping the sun, is the Plage des Mouettes (Seagull beach) or that of Vendres. For those who seek tranquillity, the wilder and protected Orpellières beach is ideal, skirted by impressive dunes. There really is something for everyone in this attractive Mediterranean region.
