Belrose Estate

Summary: Nestled amongst the picturesque vineyard and green valleys of South East Gippsland, Belrose Estate is a perfect place for guests to enjoy a variety of activities; from bike riding, hiking, surfing, visiting wineries, food indulging or to simply meandering through the vines or reflecting with a glass of Pinot Noir from our vineyard. Tranquility is the key in this beautiful house. With its large picture windows overlooking the magnificent backdrop of Grande Ridge Road and Wilsons Prom, these set the tone to recharge and to unwind. The Space: Located on the top of the hill, our tiny house is a lovely studio space of 155 sq ft. It offers guests a comfortable stay with its well-equipped kitchenette, complete with a queen sized bed, ensuite bathroom, air-conditioning and heating. Perfect for 2 persons! The kitchenette has everything you need to cook your light meals with. A portable cooker, cookware, cooking utensils, cutlery, dishes & silverware, microwave and even a mini fridge. The portable cooker can be kept in the drawers when not in use to maximize space. Our bathroom facilities follow ecologically sustainable principles, including a waterless eco-friendly compost toilet, hand basin and shower (gas heated for hot showers). In Australia's severe climatic challenge of bush fires and drought, we help to save the environment by conserving water using an eco-friendly toilet. Wastes are broken down in the compost toilet via an aerobic decomposition process. It is a water less system (no need to flush!), whereas a standard dual flush toilet would use up to 350L of water per week. An aeration fan helps in the decomposition process and minimizes odors. If you're using your own soap, shampoo, tooth paste, we ask that you bring biodegradable ones so that the grey water runoff does not harm the environment. Thank you! Guest Access: Guests will have access to the tiny house and its surroundings, except for the host's private residence and vineyards. When entering or leaving the property, check that you have shut the gates. The Neighborhood: Our property is near Wilsons Prom, Meeniyan, Tarra Bulga National Park, and Venus Bay. Wilsons Prom - amazing national park Getting Around: Getting around by car: 2 hours from Melbourne 10 min from Meeniyan Other Things to Note: - Guest can smoke in front of tiny house. - Pets are allowed only within fenced area. - Please inform host prior to arrival if you are bringing a pet. - Breakfast provided with extra cost between $15-20. Interaction with Guests: Guests will enjoy your own private space but we are always happy to chat with you.
