Entire 3-Bed House - Child & Pet Friendly

Welcome to our newly refurbished house located in the village of Worlingham near Beccles. We really hope you enjoy your stay! We have personally thought through all of the amenities and hope to provide you with all the comforts of home including television and complimentary internet access for our guests. The surrounding area has a lot to offer, summer or winter, rain or shine and is sure to make your holiday here special. The house is a perfect base to explore both Norfolk and Suffolk with its beautiful beaches and broads network, just as gorgeous on a sunny day as on a romantic grey one, walking the dog along the coast or salt marshes and looking forward to a warming hot chocolate after or a fireside pub lunch. There is a wealth of stunning places to visit a short car ride away, from the beaches at Southwold, to Framingham Castle, to the fine historic city of Norwich and picturesque and off the beaten track villages such as Thorpeness. Beccles itself is proud to host a yearly food festival, gin festival, beer and cider festival (there is a theme!) as well as numerous antique markets throughout the year. As a self-catering house, you'll find everything you need for a perfect stay. Great for multi-generational holidays, we offer a relaxing lounge, with separate dining room and a well-equipt kitchen. The kitchen has a fridge with small ice box, a hob, an oven, a dishwasher, a kettle, toaster and a microwave. There is also a washing machine available for your convenience. We can offer a travel cot and plug in nightlight if requested in advance, as well as, a highchair, bathroom stool, child's toilet seat is stored at the property with thought to our guests travelling with an under 2. This house has 3 bedrooms and can comfortably sleep 6. In the master bedroom, you will find a double bed. In the second bedroom, there is a double bed. Both double bedrooms have convenient, large built-in wardrobes with half dozen hangers for storage with the master also having a large chest of drawers. The third bedroom contains a L-shaped bunk bed (both full sized singles) perfect for children or teens. Please note that under 6's are not permitted to use the top bunk for their own safety. This small bedroom has a large chest of drawers and wall pegs for hanging space. There are 2.5 bathrooms. The family bathroom (shared by beds 2 & 3) has a toilet, sink and a bath with over bath glass screened shower. The second bathroom or en-suite to the master has a toilet, sink and raised step-in shower. There is also a cloakroom downstairs with toilet and wash hand basin just by the front door. Linen and towels are all included to make your stay more enjoyable. We also provide a few dishwasher tablets, washing up liquid, anti-bac handwashes, tea towel, dishcloth and washing up sponge for your convenience. In line with current guidance the house is extreme cleaned before your arrival with branded anti-bacterial products such as Dettol and Domestos, both proven to be effective against Coronavirus. We do not provide hand gels preferring to supply anti-bac handwash instead. Sadly though, and for your information, at this time the house has been cleared of unnecessary hygge embellishments such as sofa and bed cushions, soft throws and books in the wake of the pandemic. House Rules: - Check-in time is 4pm and check-out is 10am. - Smoking is not allowed. - Sorry NO Hen or Stag parties. - Please respect that it is a quiet neighborhood. - We ask that you please remove your outside shoes before ascending the stairs. - There are on-site parking facilities available at the property. - Furry guests are allowed but, we ask that your pet is not left at the property alone for long periods of time and that you please clean up after your pet at Oulton. We will meet and greet with the property keys, remaining masked for your protection. We will also hand you your 'newsletter' with brief instructions for appliances, heating and Wi-Fi passwords as well as our contact details (should you need us) for your stay.
