Situated in a perfect south/southwesterly location in the Hamlet of Zugani, nestling between olive trees, vineyards, lavender bushes and fruit trees with a wonderful micro-climate all year round. Only 10 km from the stunning medieval hill town of Motovun, time seems to have stood still. The white truffles for which the region is famous are found almost on our doorstep in the surrounding oak forests,and which are particularly popular with gourmets. In the immediate vicinity there are many great restaurants and traditional "Konobas" where Truffle specialities can be tried at "civilised" prices. The restaurants range from simple rural cuisine to star gastronomy. Our next door neighbour gathers truffles almost every day during the season (September - December), so you can buy probably the freshest truffles anywhere in Istria directly from him at sensible prices.
