We have hosted guest from all over the world in search of a place to stay during an internship, residency, vacation, professional business, conference, local athletic events, art events, and college courses. Anyone with a love for historic homes and country living will find this home a perfect hideaway from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. THE SPACE The space is located on a private wing shared by guest only with a private entrance. Solo travelers, couples and or families, rent one or both rooms. Each bright, airy, designer-curated room comes with a comfy full-size bed and standard amenities such as Wi-Fi, cable TV, and air conditioning. Adjacent is a guest only accessible full bathroom with bathtub/shower and separate vanity area. Relax in your guest only private second floor wing or relax downstairs, where you have full access to full kitchen, 4 working fireplaces, family room, dining room and artist studio. Coffee and tea are always available and breakfast is offered by arrangement. OTHER THINGS TO NOTE We also invite you to enjoy some fresh air and outdoor living on our patio, play catch on the lawn, and watch the deer, birds and chipmunks scurrying in the trees. Guest appreciate the peacefulness, nature and woodsy charm of our house, especially knowing that you are just a few minutes walk or drive from the center of town, excellent dining, shopping, nightlife, business and school. There is close access to the train and major highways.
