Extra: The single sofa bed in the living room makes for comfortable sleeping space for one guest. The beautiful commune of Gignese is a wonderful place to stay and enjoy the various attractions near Lake Maggiore. The spectacular Alpinia Botanical Garden (7 minutes) that overlooks the serene lake is like a natural balcony from where one can admire the panoramic view of the landscape. Gignese is especially known for being home to a number of chapels and shrines. It is a perfect base to explore the various destinations such as Stresa, Borromean Islands, Belgirate, Lesa and others. The nearest restaurant from the holiday house is only a kilometer away. The lake, shops and the supermarket is about 6 kilometers or less than 10 minutes’ drive from here.
