Bring your surf casting rod/boat/kontiki as there is a fish filleting table available at rear of property for your use. There is ample off road parking with carport to park under, plenty of room for boat trailers also. Ohope Beach is only 15 mins away, Tauranga and Rotorua are an hours drive. Enjoy a scenic flight out to White Island,explore Whale Island Sanctuary,swim with the dolphins,or maybe do the coastal walk/cycleway between Whakatane and Ohope. We highly recommend Awakeri Rail Adventures for a fun kiwiana experience, a must do during your stay in Whakatane, brochures in apartment. If you are after a Fishing Charter we recommend Ezy Fishing Charters, Whakatane, whatever you are after, they can supply all gear and plan your day. If you are seeking a nice quiet beach to have a stroll along or relax and take in the views away from the crowds, this is it!! yours to enjoy.
