In the apartment you have a washing machine, an iron, a dishwasher, microwave oven, electric oven, coffee machine, toaster, two TV, cable TV with international channels, hair dryer and free WI-FI. The neighborhood is one of the oldest of Lisbon and it's called Alcântara, witch comes from the arabic word meaning bridge. The location is perfect for sightseeing, between downtown and Belém. Bairro Alto is Lisbon’s main bar and nightlife area, just an 8-minute drive away. The Chiado and the Rossio historical areas are full of shops, cafés and traditional restaurants. Both areas stand at a 9-minute drive from Riverside Old Lisbon. Belém is at a walking distance and is famed for its historical tower and its shops selling the traditional Pastéis de Belém (a local custard-based delicacy). The Jeronimos Monastery is also a walk away from the apartment. There are public transports very close to the apartment: - Tram to go to Belém or Downtown; - Buses for every part of Lisbon; - Train to Cascais, Estoril and lots of beaches (Alcântara Mar station); - Train to Sintra (Alcântara Terra station).
