1200 square foot home with 3 beds & 2 baths; one includes a shower seat. The entire house is fully furnished and provides many amenities including laundry machines, kitchen, wifi and toiletries. There's a beautiful view of the mountains from both the living room and master bedroom. The dining space can comfortably hold 6 people. The gorgeous Smith River is only 3 min away for fishing, rafting and swimming. Crescent City and beach is 20 min away. Nov through March is our prime fishing season. Spacious acherage with a knowledgeable host to enhance your experience. Guests have access to the whole area, the front yard, the fruit trees and the berries that are wild along the perimeter of the seven acres. Parking is shared. I love socializing with my guests, and I am always available by text, phone or email before, during or after their visit. If my guest wish to be left alone, I can certainly do that also. A quiet, remote location at the end of a small runway, Ward Airfield. Most of the residents are retired from the Forestry Department or law enforcement. Small grocery store, post office, K - 8 school with a full playground nearby. Walking, hiking, or by car as there is no frequent bus service. RCT (Redwood Coast Transit) is available. Their schedule is on the internet. We have a propane BBQ as well as a Weber barbecue. We also have a stainless steel sink where successful fishermen may clean their catch.
