Sunny Family House near Station, A’dam and Bergen

## Space Make yourself comfortable in this characteristic family house in Alkmaar. It has three bedrooms, a tastefully decorated lounge with large sofa and dining area and open kitchen with modern appliances. So there is plenty of space for 6 persons. We have installed 2 showers in the bathroom for your comfort. There is a private patio where you can enjoy your morning coffee in the sun or a cooling drink on a warm summer evening. All bedrooms have 2 double box spring beds that can be used separately or pushed together. Our house is located in a typical Dutch inner city neighborhood with plenty of (young) families around. A great way to feel local! But do please note that we also expect you to respect these neighbors by not causing any noise or other nuisance. From the house, you can easily walk to the famous center of Alkmaar, which some consider even prettier than Amsterdam. But for those who want to be their own judge, Amsterdam is just 30 minutes away by train. Please read it carefully before your arrival and let us know if you need anything or have any questions. ## Neighborhood Alkmaar is a traditional Dutch city with many medieval buildings still intact. It is a gorgeous place to visit on it's own accord and especially famous for the traditional cheese market (15 minutes walking from the house) that is still held every week in summer and where cheeses are still traded in a traditional way (incl. hand claps!). But it has much more to offer. If you are done exploring this city, Amsterdam is only half an hour by train and you can explore the Dutch coast line and dunes by taking the bus (30 min) to Bergen (aan Zee) or Egmond aan Zee or head east to explore famous traditional towns such as Volendam, Hoorn and Enkhuizen. ## Transit Alkmaar can be reached by public transport in 90 minutes and by car in 30. The house is located close to the city center so you can walk everywhere. You can easily travel to Alkmaar by train.
