The gîte du Moulin de Gramont is a pretty apartment entirely renovated in 2009, located on the ground floor of the former mill outbuilding of the 17th century, listed as a historical monument. The exterior is entirely open to nature with the river, the medieval stone bridge and the Moulin de Gramont. The charming gîte with its exposed stones and lime walls is ideal for two adults and two children. It is composed of a living room with open kitchen, two bedrooms with their private bathroom, a large garden with terrace and barbecue. Bio vegetable garden. Cleaning is extra. Sheets and towels included. Located next to Le Moulin de Pocheluberry for 6 people, you can use rent both accommodations for a total privatization. The lodging : Large convivial living room with its visible stones, fitted out with : - A lounge area with a sofa, TV. - Dining table for 4 persons - Kitchen open to the living room, fully equipped: fridge, oven, microwave, toaster, kettle, filter coffee maker and Docle Gusto capsule coffee maker, dishwasher... Night space : - Bedroom 1: double bed 160 x 200 cm. Italian shower and double washbasin in the room. - Room 2: bunk beds. En-suite bathroom with shower and washbasin. - Separate WC Exterior : - The exterior is entirely open to nature with the Lihoury river, the medieval stone bridge and the Gramont mill . Ideal for soaking your feet or fishing! - The cottage has a private part of 1 000 m² with terrace, barbecue, sunbathing. - An organic vegetable garden is at your disposal free of charge in spring-summer and according to the production, for the picking of vegetables. Nearby: - Bidache is a small rural village of 1400 inhabitants which is fortunate to have all types of shops: supermarket, bakery/pastry shop, tobacco/press, local producers' market, farm products, doctor's surgery, pharmacy... - The Moulin de Gramont is located in the countryside, 2 km south of the village. It is ideally situated for the discovery of the Basque Country, South Landes and Béarn. A hiking trail brings you to the village at less than 40 min walk. - The Hari-Nahi farm located 100 m from the gîte produces and sells pork and veal from the farm. Activities : - The geographical situation of the gîte du Moulin de Gramont allows you to find, within a radius of 30 km, the beaches of the Basque coast (swimming, surfing...), the exceptional sites and villages of the inland Basque Country: Bidache and its Castle of Gramont, Espelette, St Jean-pied de Port, La Bastide de Clairence, the gorges of Kakuetta, Rafting and Canyoning in Bidarray, hiking on the whole of the Basque mountains. - On the spot you will be able to practice fishing (trout, perch, whitefish, etc.). - Hiking, mountain bike rides in the Mixe woods (600 hectares) - 40 min from the beaches of the Basque coast and the south Landes. - At 30 min from the picturesque sites of the inner Basque Country. - Less than 5 km from the gîte is a leisure base (Base Pop/Guiche) with free beach and water games.
