It is surrounded by vast forests and can be a starting point for pleasant excursions in the uncontaminated nature, dotted with vestiges of the past. In the village there is a grocery store and a bar. All shops and restaurants are in Lajatico (7 km) and larger supermarkets are 10 minutes away by car.
