This holiday home set in Hérault is a starting point for going on lovely walks in the Languedoc region. Prades-sur-Verzanobres is a small village located only 5km from Saint-Chinian and 30 minutes from Béziers town and whose little market on Sunday mornings will add to the experience. There are many beaches all along the Orb river around Roquebrun and Cessenon-sur-Orb. The local wines are very much sought after and offer sumptuous viticultural landscapes. You’ll find local producers on site and all around the region that will enable you to discover the different nuances of a St Chinian. Set amongst a typically Mediterranean landscape and the scent of thyme, rosemary and lavender, vineyards stretch along the riverbank that flows through the village. Great hikes and cycling trails can be organised from Prades town. Other activities are available in a 35km radius: there is an aqua park, beaches, mini farm, horse riding, bike rental, attraction parks, wildlife parks and many more… The traditional village party takes place on the third weekend in July and last weekend in August. This will include live music and an orchestra where the whole village meets to share meals and dance together, a great way to end the season !
