The hoiliday house is located in quiet and rural surroundings, one kilometre outside the village of Riom-ès-Montagnes, 95 km to the south-west of Clermont-Ferrand. In the Parc National Des Volcans d'Auvergne, which is situated at 30 km to the south of Riom-ès-Anges, you will find Europe's largest volcano: 'Le Puy Mary' (1787 m) with the Plomb du Chantal (1855 m). To the northwest of your holiday accommodation there is a nature reserve, known as the Gorges de la Dordogne. Your holiday house formerly was part of a cheese dairy. The house was built in the year 1929 and completely renovated in 2007. The location is absolutely quiet, between meadows with grazing Salers cattle. The vague tinkling of the cowbells completes the cosy atmosphere in this charming holiday house.
