Villa Colombara is a completely renovated country house set in the green hills known as “Val Luretta”, the ideal place to relax body and mind in the silence of unspoiled nature. Val Luretta, a small valley very close to Piacenza, offers a wonderful opportunity for a holiday dedicated to relaxation and physical activity. A territory rich in castles, we would like to mention a couple present in the valley: the castle of Agazzano (perfectly maintained and open to the public) and the castle of Rezzanello, set in a stupendous scenario with a 360° panorama, framed by hills where nature is predominant. The place is characterised by its almost unchanged “mountain” identity, where nature and traditions still find ample space and represent values that are well safeguarded by the local community. An environment far from the frenetic rhythms of the city and where pollution and traffic are unheard of. Furthermore, the house is located within a cycling route with mountain bike enthusiasts making excursions through the surrounding woods. Interior: The villa has four floors. The entrance on the ground floor leads directly to the modern kitchen, complete with dining table, while on the left is the large living room characterised by a large sliding glass window providing a wonderful view of the green hills. Also on the ground floor, but on the right this time, is a guest bathroom, a study and a double bedroom with en-suite bathroom with shower. Going up to the first floor along a beautiful staircase covered in natural stone, we come to a gallery from which a double bedroom, a bedroom with two single beds and a bathroom with shower can be reached. From the gallery we then continue up to the second floor with an open-plan double bedroom, also with bathroom with shower. Going down, instead, to the basement floor we come to a beautiful double bedroom with a large window and a bathroom with shower. Park: The park and garden, for exclusive use of the guests, extend for approximately 1,500 sq m and include the 4-car parking area located near the entrance gate. The garden around the villa is composed of white-washed gravel surfaces and large lawn areas enlivened by bushes of flowers, olives, cypresses, lindens and various shady trees. The large independent stone portico, located just outside the main villa, is equipped with table and chairs for outdoor dining while a few steps away, next to the portico, is an annex composed of a masonry kitchen with wood oven.Please notice that photos are taken in spring, therefore flower blossoming, and the colours of the gardens' grass could be different at the moment of your arrival at the villa. Swimming Pool: The elegant, newly-built swimming pool, overlooks the landscape characterised by the typical colours of the Piacenza hills. Located about 10 metres from the villa, it has an irregular shape, measuring 10 x 5 m with a constant depth of 1,30 m. Lined in PVC, it has chlorine purification and large steps for access to the water. The sunbathing area is equipped with sunbeds, umbrellas and a cold-water shower. The swimming pool is available from the last Saturday of April to the first Saturday of October.
