This typical Vic-Bilh complex, carefully rehabilitated, called for the use of artisanal techniques and ecological materials. The bedding is new and meets environmental standards. Installing a pellet stove heats the premises. Electricity is supplied by a Citizen Cooperative (ENERCOOP) which ensures that it comes entirely from renewable sources. Outside, the green spaces have been embellished by the planting of a forest and honey hedge of more than 250 meters as well as a strip of 500 m² which has been sown with wild flowers. The maintenance is ensured by ewes which graze quietly between the fruit and ornamental trees. A chicken coop allows certain food waste to be recycled. An apiary located under a grove, sheltered from any disturbance, allows us to observe our dear bees. Finally, an above-ground swimming pool made of local wood (Landes pine) allows you to cool off during the summer period. La Clé des champs is a large capacity gîte geared towards responsible tourism. The eco-lodge is in the process of obtaining the European eco-label (certified by Afnor).
